the mass memory is slow when : 1) ure transfering to/from pc (700kB/s) 2) u use it for recording video (lag here n there)
plus they are a lot more features that the 8gb n95 has over normal n95... * 8 GB internal flash memory, up from 160 MB. * Larger display (2.8", up from 2.6"), with same resolution (QVGA), resulting in lower pixel density (142dpi vs 153dpi). * MicroSD slot removed * Demand paging (although the N95 supports this too, since firmware version 20.0.015[14]) * 128 MB RAM, 95MB available. * 1200 mAh battery (BL-6F), up from 950 mAh * Slider protecting camera lens removed to make room for the larger battery * Cosmetic changes to media and front-panel buttons * New model of handsfree/remote control, AD-54[15] (as opposed to AD-43[16] for previous N95 versions) * New multimedia menu, with Nokia's Ovi content integration * Removal of built-in video editor (later added with the firmware upgrades) * Mass: 128g, up 8g from 120g * User Data Preservation (UDP) like in the Nokia N82 (since firmware version 20.0.016) * Automatic Screen Rotation (ASR) without any third-party software like in the Nokia N82 (since firmware version 20.0.016) * Much better overall performance and looks

QUOTE(mstr583 @ Jun 24 2008, 07:33 PM) Let we welcome a new user from japan.. Haha, I'm just a typical Malaysian. Anyway this set gave me alot of problems when the first time I got it, been repair once (only re-run software), after that often auto restart, sometimes freeze, can't fully utilize the GPS and video function as it will automatically revert back to menu once I played it, until hard disk error shown and can't on the phone, sent to warranty for few weeks... Just got the set back few days ago, although it will still auto restart when I bluetooth-ed something, but overall now it's better than before I sent it to warranty...

Hi guys, thanks for the guide. So the conclusion is N95 8GB is better option regardless of the price. I like the 8GB too. Just that my friend who sell it say it is slow. One more question. Will it be sharp to take video? and since I own a travelling company, I plan to make all my trip recorded in video to post up to the website and do presentation. U think it suit the purpose?

U think it suit the purpose? photo shooting is ok for me, only if u have steady hands. but video recording is still far away from camcoder due to the absence of image stabilizer feature. personal use then ok, but i will shy to post on website and do presentation.

I thought video recording has video stabilization? or is it different than image stabilizer?

for a mobile phone the video recording is superb....since the days of n93 even. 640x480 resolution @ 30 fps... movie only 24 fps... when u play it on the phone wif landscape mode, wah very sharp. sound also good... just make sure u save in phone memory instead..n then transfer to mass M
just now i save my sms on mass memory instead of phone mem.... when entering write new sms.. takes a damn long time !

Well i still prefer N93 video shooting.. At least i get 3x optical zoom before the video being digital zoom. Sigh... miss my n93...

no.. write new sms wont see the lag. but if u wan to read the sms (especially when u reached 200-300sms in storage) you will see a slight pause.
