i got another prob, everytime i wanna record video it is always hang for 1 second about every 5 seconds.... why?

ok, the solution is to save to phone memory instead of mass memory to record video..
max res... you guys never lag ah record at max reso and save at mass memory?

is there any way to switch off sound when it captures pic?

u guys got corrupt mass memory or not... just now connect to pc using data transfer suddenly memory full, all folder filled with weird files.. all data gone....a virus or what? why suddenly corrupt? barely 1 week old

youre damn right the mass memory is damn slow!! transferring from pc to the mass m is about 700kb/s... means 1 song also takes a few secs!! argh! if use memory card faster right ?

nokia n96 got usb 2.0 right
should be much faster!

anyways i want to have auto rotate feature like in Nokia n82....

but i cannot install Rotateme because certificate error...
another way is to update firmware.... but i dont know how to backup contacts/msgs

just installed the latest firmware, backed up msgs and contacts to mass memory... so far i have no probs...
auto rotate is working flawlessly in just about any program .. just that it got a bit confuse when you watch movie in landscape when u are not rotating, n then when rotate it got pening a bit..

also because of the slowness of the mass memory i have to save my captured pics and videos to phone memory... less lag.. but need to transfer.. aisey...

yeah in the settings now got "rotate : on/off"
but thats all on or off only not specific in any place

anyway, nokia n93 got 2x optical zoom, n95 n82 got how much? can't find anywhere seriously

the mass memory is slow when :
1) ure transfering to/from pc (700kB/s)
2) u use it for recording video (lag here n there)

for a mobile phone the video recording is superb....since the days of n93 even.
640x480 resolution @ 30 fps...
movie only 24 fps...
when u play it on the phone wif landscape mode, wah very sharp. sound also good...
just make sure u save in phone memory instead..n then transfer to mass M

just now i save my sms on mass memory instead of phone mem....
when entering write new sms.. takes a damn long time !

hence i use a car charger when using GPS in my car..
hell after 3-4 hours of highway journey of car charging + garmin gps the battery is still charging, tak full2

bro i think most of these n95 or n95 users(outside this forum) won't even use 50% of the phone functions.. they just bought it because it's expensive n then just use msg or call and sometimes takes pic thats all..maybe for prestige also
