i am stumped.
my friend looking for help: "We're backpacking there, so we would like to look for a cheap hotel which can fit the 8 of us (preferably in a room). That is the problem because of the size of our group. We are looking for deals below the price of RM130 if possible." any suggestions guys |

QUOTE(Ami Tsun @ Aug 7 2009, 10:05 AM) I think their best bet would be staying at the backpacker inns or budget guesthouses, can be found mainly along Lebuh Chulia, Lorong Cinta (Love Lane), Jalan Penang, Lebuh Leith, Lorong Hutton and Jalan Argyll. To accommodate 8 people in a room, probably need to book the whole dormitory, which per bed costs RM10-15. QUOTE(ahjames @ Aug 7 2009, 10:11 AM) okay i will tell him go love lane liao |

QUOTE(Putraskyline @ Dec 24 2009, 12:32 PM) Haha....I'm asking because I never see ais kacang with sarsi flavor. Only know they got syrup red and green, then "gula melaka" syrup. As i know, only Penang serves ais kacang with sarsi flavor. Giving it a very fresh and gassy aroma. Other ais kacang is just purely syrup + shaved ice which has only 1 taste, sweet. Kinda boring |

QUOTE(Putraskyline @ Dec 24 2009, 12:47 PM) i know a few locations, New World Park @ Swatow LaneKek Seng @ Penang Road The famous teow chew chendol @ Penang Road, and Lorong Selamat's Coffee Shop, where the expensive char koay teow used to be at One thing though, they are all operated by Chinese, so I am not really sure about the halal-ity Added on December 24, 2009, 12:50 pm QUOTE(vey99 @ Dec 24 2009, 12:48 PM) btw Sin Seh Kai Kopitiam @ Swatow lane punya cendol is epic fail. Ais Kacang is nicer than the new World Park food court one if u ask me. very true. The quality seems to drop each time I visit. The last time I went there, the look is the same, but the ori awesome taste is no longer found. The boss rich now.. hire ppl to do the ais kacang, sighbut cendol is tasteless. i think the worker forgot something. but i tapow so cannot complen i would stick to the old coffee shop This post has been edited by vkeong: Dec 24 2009, 12:50 PM |

QUOTE(vey99 @ Dec 24 2009, 12:52 PM) new world park cannot pakai liao, lansi summore have to stand there and self servis, bull la. for kek seng, i usually park at the open car park opposite the shop, which is next to prangin mall, then walk over. altho is opposite, still need to walk very far coz it's fenced. but i guess the ais kacang + self made durian ice cream is worth the trouble and sweatsin seh kai kopitiam outside is better. kek seng okay but parking is a impossible penang road one is nais but srsly the stall opposite him also not bad one. lorong selamat one i nvr try b4 cos there is expense food territory. now the CKT is Rm6 cheapest dy. Added on December 24, 2009, 12:53 pmputra i think ur safer bet is Penang Road Famous Teochew ABC. Cos their branches in KL (Giant hypermart) all halal one. And they are individual stall on roadside. |
