"Cases doesn't mean they are not reliable". Still not worth to take the risk.

With AirAsiaGo, you may face the risk of they did not answer your call when anything happened. If you book directly with hotel, you found some problem when you arrived at the hotel, and you show your receipt, at least the staff there will do something (e.g. accommodate you to another hotel free of charge). If you book through AirAsiaGo, the printed receipt only can proof that you book the hotel with AirAsiaGo, it cannot proof that AirAsiaGo send your booking to the hotel. When anything happened, and AirAsiaGo do not answer your call, you will understand why I say all these.

However, I am just here to give advice. Follow or not, it is up to you. If anyone still want to use AirAsiaGo / AirAsia GoHoliday, go ahead. But, when anything happened, don't blame me for not giving advice.

However, if anyone still want to use AirAsiaGo / GoHoliday to make hotel booking, my other advice: After your booking, call the hotel to confirm that they receive your booking.
*
This should be great advice than anything. Mostly I understand what you are trying to say but personally I don't think booking with AAgo, can go that troublesome. Its easy, few days after booking with AAGo, email and call the hotel you confirm your reservation.

I bought my ticket last 2 months via mobile airasia. So basically, no baggage and Insurance bought during that time.

My travel is on May, now I wana buy insurance, is that possible?

Another things is, if I do not buy any baggage, whats the default weight that can be check in?
*
If you dont buy anything, you dont have permission to check in bag. You can only bring hand luggage.

Some AA destinations include a basic allowance of "up to ... kg"

Also, remember that the government requires airport tax to be refunded on request. I've got it back a few times from AA but MH has given me the run-around!

Ermm...I didnt know that. Which destination for example include basic allowance?

guys, there's a new promotion on AirAsia to TAIPEI rm 99.
http://www.airasia.com/my/en/promotion/rr0...TPE2ndFrequency

but I click the date travel as informed in that ads, and it turn out rm 300+ go and another rm 300+ back. zzz. the T&C on that ads also state it already included taxes. so is this another advertising scam by AirAsia.

Before you conclude everything, read the whole part.

have u guys ever board a plane with around 10+ people only flying?
just now I choose seat for my HK trip, only 10+ people occupied the seats (as stated on the graph). is it some haven't choose their seat online / it's just 10+ people on that particular plane boarding to HK? @@
*
Thats mean only 10 person paid for the chosen seat. Others have/maybe book as well but they are not paying, so AA will give random seat when they checked in. Usually if they are low number of passenger on flight, AA will cancel the flight smile.gif

Ha ha, ya, right, AA is so smart - to make you fork out more money!!

It is also quite "tricky" when the GoInsure is added during booking, if you do not want it, you have to click "cancel" and not "yes"..
*
GoInsure was annoying.

Book online under "Manage my booking". Cheaper than check in at counter and pay.
