I noticed some cars even you don't throttle to high rpm like stay in 1-2k rpm, the car still can accelerate very fast...

Hi bros and sisters,
Just booked my Black B-Line Manual last 14th March. Still waiting for my loan to be approved... 4 me, BLM is Savvy body with the heart of Campro DOHC 1.3cc engine(except for the clutch system) Guys, have you check the clutch on BLM? I've checked it at the showroom and found out that it doesn't operate using cable or hydraulic but same like Savvy one. Hope it's not as hard as Savvy... |

Like Honda city ratio, it is damn low until idle is around 600rpm only. 110km/h lower than 2k RPM. That's the way to save petrol. |

QUOTE(jceh83 @ Mar 23 2008, 02:20 PM) well it could be my bad bro, but thru the wikipedia page i don't see where it states aveo is classified as a conti car...if that is so, is lexus and acura conti cars too since these two brands started off as a specific US market car only? Grounding should not be voiding the warranty just an add on not moding anything also. As for aveo i know its posted in the motor traders mag in the continental section. i would love to do the grounding too but will it void warranty? Oh ya a break through for all saga owners out there i found a simple solution to the blinking door ajar lights when going over bump i found out that the door sensor is not long enough to be depress fully so i added padding inside the rubber so when i close the door the sensor will be fully depress after that no more blinking lights when going over bumps. Mine was the right back passenger door.Just take out the screw and the rubber and add padding inside be it anything from papers to eraser just make sure its not too big but enough to depress the sensor fully when u close the door This post has been edited by -storm-: Mar 23 2008, 10:04 PM Attached thumbnail(s) |

QUOTE(cloudstrife07 @ Mar 23 2008, 09:08 PM) bro, i can see that u're the performance kind of a person. hahah..kinda yeah...love speed..but speed = money.. money is something i have to work hard for. so my car is gonna be like a project for me. slowly mod-ing the car to my own liking. wait till Hotbits or Speedworks unleash the new saga extractor, then u can put it on, together with custom muffler etc. and lightened crank pulley, denso iridium .............and go dyno it Yeah bro, have to cut the extractor away n put a bullet on. custom muffs also. but i dun like the idea of a loud sounding muffs.. irritates me when i drive long distance. if im gonna change, im changing 1 with less noise or something. suggestion any1? |

That's the way to save petrol. more or less only the gear ratio plays with how the car accelerates bro...by my experience, its how much torque your engine outputs and at what revs can you achieve max torque that really has something to do with acceleration... correct me if i'm wrong but thru my experience in cars, campro engines are rev hungry engines that's why they came out with IAFM to correct this problem...our saga now reaches max torque of 120Nm at 4000rpm... therefore I think anywhere from 2000rpm the saga would have slightly better acceleration as its building up torque...one forummer has already reported that he finds revving anything above 4000rpm seems faster.... out of topic, currently our car pushes out 70kw or 95bhp and 120Nm, while the vios pushes out 107bhp/141Nm and the city i-dsi 87bhp/131Nm therefore our power to weight ratio is :- Saga B-Line = 90.9bhp per tonne Vios S = 101.9bhp per tonne City (i-dsi) = 79.5bhp per tonne Myvi 1.3 ZHS = 89.4bhp per tonne on paper its not too bad eh...but the city reaches max torque at 2700rpm whilst the vios reaches 141Nm at 4200rpm.. QUOTE(jceh83 @ Mar 24 2008, 01:51 AM) more or less only the gear ratio plays with how the car accelerates bro... That's the engine and gear ratio matter. I think you are right with it, campro + IAFM, slightly high RPM then only can boost the power. Campro CPS need even higher RPM compare to Campro IAFM if I'm not mistaken...by my experience, its how much torque your engine outputs and at what revs can you achieve max torque that really has something to do with acceleration... correct me if i'm wrong but thru my experience in cars, campro engines are rev hungry engines that's why they came out with IAFM to correct this problem...our saga now reaches max torque of 120Nm at 4000rpm... therefore I think anywhere from 2000rpm the saga would have slightly better acceleration as its building up torque...one forummer has already reported that he finds revving anything above 4000rpm seems faster.... Anyway, so envy with Civic's engine, low RPM but high power. Low petrol but drive fast... |

QUOTE(MR_alien @ Mar 24 2008, 01:23 AM) Can configure one meh? I only know how to silent lock la. As for auto lock it happens always once all the doors has been shut, wait 30sec and it will lock itself. Today went and pump petrol pay money came back the door was lock Added on March 24, 2008, 1:56 am QUOTE(ching4ever @ Mar 24 2008, 12:38 AM) I do not have any problem with the blinking light due to the door is not fully close. Not the door fault door is ok close nicely only the sensor not depress properly, too short i guess so i added padding and problem solve. I tried a proper way of breaking in the engine by once awhile reving it and now i get power from all ranges 1k - 6k rpm the car keep pulling when i 1st get the car same thing as you below 2k lacking in power after some happy reving for a few days the engine is more nippy.. Hmm dono is due to the voltage stabilizer or not because all this happens after i install VS as well.then the power suddently 'kick-in' after 2000rpm..... ><'' This post has been edited by -storm-: Mar 24 2008, 02:01 AM |
