ur proper way to breaking in engine is rev it kao kao although just the engine still so new? whistling.gif
*
Not rev it kau kau la, later will cause glazing and your piston rings will stop seating already. Its by mileage 1-200 km you keep it below 3k rpm and every 20km you rev it to 4.5k and sustain it for a short period if too long heat builds up you get glazing of the walls, then from 200-400km keep the rpm below 4k and once awhile or every 20km rev the engine to 5.5k and keep doing this by increasing the rev and limit of the rpm every 200km 5k limit,6.5k short burst and so on till u reach your 1000km of service. After the 1st service you will get a more nippy engine compare to those kiasi ppl who keep their engine below 3k rpm till the 1st service. Nway this is a risky method if you screw up and glaze your engine walls while performing engine break in thats it your performance and fc is not going be be at its full potential. smile.gif
This is just my own opinion and based on many articles i read from the net, if you don't like it pls keep it to yourself and play safe this is just my method and im seeing results from the way my car is performing.

This is my own opinion i will not be responsible for any future performance lost or high fc if you screw up tongue.gif

Just received SMS from my SA
Due to I need car fast, he said my car plate number will cost me total RM600... had to pay no choice because my old car already give to him last week friday to secure a better price, now no car, can't go out

RM600.... sigh

That's a rip off, there's no need to pay extra if it's a running number. UNLESS the number you wanted is beyond the 1000 numbers range.

zzzz....
now my SA called again
He said number get already, but JPJ office closed because it is 5.00pm already

But he say, add another RM50, he can get the JPJ office to register it and get it done now....

thats total RM650 for a plate number
same as what ethan experienced, same amount but different story

RM650 !!!!

Added on March 24, 2008, 5:19 pmSigh, so the promised 4.00pm to deliver has now been broken

Now he say at night can...
night means I have to be careful when inspecting the car before signing the papers

Haiizzz...

And you know the best part, my SA's manager asked me to introduce to him customers. With all this problems .... better think twice

Just to repeat again, this is the Kelana Jaya branch inside Giant Hypermarket

Special Draws For Those Waiting For New Proton Saga

KUALA LUMPUR, March 24 (Bernama) -- Proton Holdings Bhd will be holding special weekly draws for those who have booked the new SAGA model amid overwhelming response for the model, with 42,000 bookings received since its launch in January.

"We hope our customers will be patient in waiting to drive their new cars home," said Proton's managing director, Datuk Syed Zainal Abidin Syed Mohamed Tahir, in a statement Monday.

"We would like to thank our customers for their continuous trust in PROTON and their support of our products. The weekly draw is one of our initiatives to speed up the delivery," he said.

"The response has been very encouraging. Even within the first month of the SAGA launch, we received 30,000 bookings," he added.

PROTON EDAR will hold the draws for all of its customers who have booked the new SAGA model, enabling the lucky ones to collect their car two weeks after the draw.

The draw will be carried out in the presence of an internal auditor and ten lucky customers will be picked weekly.

The winners must however meet all the buying criteria, namely the settlement of the full down payment and receipt of the Letter of Undertaking (LOU) from the financier.

Those eligible for the draw are customers who have placed a booking on the SAGA model via Proton Edar and EON branches and dealers, and awaiting collection of their SAGA.
