Wa this car not bad today was cruising at 6k rpm engine screaming =p Short burst only got traffic. Eh btw you guys got any proeblem with the brake pedal? Mine is kinda soft and you can step all the way to the floor one.

Btw i notice we are using siemens VDO kinda hopeless to remap but i think campro can be remap and get at least +10bhp as claimed by some parties after remap, the ECU so easy to locate its just behind our player rclxub.gif But alarm module cannot be found dono hide where.

Yeah, that's why it is not the time to change the rims and tyres first. Use it for maybe 1 or 2 years first. By the way, the color is silver for my saga.
RM20 huh...will take it to tyre shop this saturday, see how much they charge me.
*
Tyre shop will chop you rm40 - 50 bucks one.

120km/h cornering? You are hero!

Anyway, how you slow down? Step the break? When doing cornering, step the break can cause your car buang much easier.
*
Want test the legendary lotus handling ma tongue.gif
My sister's savy handles corner better.
Tap on the brake and drop gear lo, if slam on the brake you wont see me posting here sweat.gif

i still think the manual is a experiment gearbox as its 1st time proton source from other company besides Mitsubishi which the auto is using. Maybe later batches will get different gearbox tongue.gif

From manual book, it said from R to N, no need but from N to R need to press...but I scare will spoil the gear box, still presss.
*
Oh i got him wrong i tot from N to R, no need press la wont spoil the gb one actually if u dismantle the gear leaver u will find that actually no need press one the locking mechanism is just a precaution for accidental shifting thats all, no other purpose.

QUOTE(paskal @ Apr 1 2008, 10:19 PM)
open pod?
why in the world someone would do that?

that's just stupid unwise in my dictionary. renders the whole IAFM system useless.
if the torque dip could be straighthen out by a simple open pod conversion, everyone would already be running on open pods.
*
I dont see adding a open pod will affect the IAFM, the IAFM is not that box you see outside, its build inside the intake manifold, the box is just the filter. The IAFM works by letting the air through a shorter path or longer path thats all, and if you install a open pod provided with a proper heat shield im sure the intake efficiency would be increase and the IAFM would still work with better intake of air= more smoother power delivery.
long runner for low rpm and short runner for high speed.
"quote" : The IAFM is module that replaces the aluminium air intake manifold and works in tandem with the Proton Engine Management System to control and vary the air intake volume as well as speed, ensuring optimum air-fuel mixture to the engine combustion chamber at all times
Sauce: http://www.motortrader.com.my/NUS/articles...1244/page_m.asp

But nway adding open pod will void the warranty so have to wait 5 freaking years. rclxub.gif

Fc report from me,

1st RM70 = 362km (petronas) 90% highway ,mileage 400+
2nd rm30 = 176km (Esso/mobil) 90% highway, mileage 700+
3rd rm25 = still counting

All refill when the warning light comes up.
Seems to be improving. AFter 1000km service im sure it will get better mileage.
