Any idea is it possible for us to change the drive shaft by ourself by using 3rd party parts (if there is any)? How much it will normally cost?
*
warranty void like that sweat.gif
Scare they void the whole engine warranty only because the drive shaft is part of the gearbox and gearbox is connected to the engine via the crankshaft. If im not mistaken can pay siang hin to do it for you they will change at the cost of no lesser than rm 350 per stick, both means an arm or a leg rclxub.gif

I change my wira one also need rm180 per side recon some more new one should be more.

u mean the drive shaft??....but change confirm won't be rusty again???.......and u mean both stick in the pics ah??
*
ya the two sticks in the pics, if change to new one means no rust la but voiding the warranty is a very high probability.

My auto is starting to get good fc already mileage around 2300, rm20 can get me 120km to 130km thats roughly an average of 16cent/km.

my blm fc sux.....full tank can't even last me for 250km......100% city drive.....last time coz of the raining weather causing massive jam i can forgive the high fc....but now not much jam edi also de same.....worst than last time.....sometimes my full tank can't even last me 220km.....wth is happening to my car......with all those sounds here and there.....plus now with the high FC.....how am i gonna last long with this....this car forcing me to pump full tank average 2 times per week......my normal route is from setapak --> pudu for work den after work from pudu --> cheras --> setapak (via mrr2) .....last time my satria onli pump full tank per week....now it's costing me double....wth ..... ;cry:
*
hmm.gif Whats your mileage? Im getting 120km-130 km for rm20 thats average of 16cent. How much you pump full tank? If i assume that you pump rm60 full tank then your are getting 0.24-25cent/km i also went through it before my fc got better.

Got i see a lot of white blm with the ugly non painted bumpers on the road(N-line) shakehead.gif
Some more proton go put a layer of gloss on the bumper make it some more uglier. If not painted leave it would be nicer, with gloss it looks weird.

It's a device thats detect your car key when you're nearby the car. At the time the device detect your car key present, it will unlock your car..

Most of luxury car now have this sytem. From what i know Merc already implement this..

drove my blm b-line tis morn..
overall, hard to get used to it..
1. signal light different direction
2. braking are some sort like air-pump..i need to press twice for an emergency brake.
3. the sofa is kinda cushy..haha.nvm, like it too.
4. i got no time to check on my rpm coz i haven get used to eat..focus more on the road.haha.

not bad car.gear 1, 2 and 3 kinda slow in pickup..4 and 5 is a WOW!not bad not bad..will try on a 160rpm speeding soon.woot!illegal but yes.

however i don like the time when change gear..the petrol wont cut off immediately when u put off my oil pedal..thats a task..used to drive accord 1.8 1986..nw downgrade 1.3 but not bad..like to speed behind..will test on with the milage..still counting.
*
The brake pads proton gave is not good, so hard to do emergency brake, proton mech told me that, try changing to aftermarket high performance brake pad confirm satisfy. The petrol wont cut off is due to the electronic control throttle no more line already that why got delay. As for pick up my one is auto im quite satisfy power really comes when hit 3k rpm and above, better than my wira 1.5.

QUOTE(bobby85 @ May 13 2008, 10:26 AM)
Hi all...din online for a few days edi....coz went outstation to Fraser Hill....The road there is damn winding and my car is full of ppl...5 adults (3 big size at the back passenger sit) and a full load luggages and foods and water in my trunk. It was like abusing my car to the max edi....everything full load......but the good thing i like is tat with the full load of things in my car also...when climbing up to fraser hill....power wise...i onli lose a bit to my fren's myvi onli coz his car onli fetching 3 ppl and a few luggages compared to mine. Handling was not bad either considering the "weight" of my car is during that time. Overall quite satisfy la.....

As for the 100% city driving FC, din manage to check out coz not in town lately. BUt i did compared with my fren myvi's FC when going uphill n downhill....going uphill...both our car consume 1 bar and with all those driving in Fraser Hill's town area and goin downhill....both our cars consumed 2 bars when we compared at the end of our day during departure. thumbup.gif  thumbup.gif

* Please take note of the weight difference of our car.
Myvi --> 3 passenger with adequate luggages
BLM ---> 5 passenger with hell lot of luggages and other stuffs like 1 box of 6 x 1.5 lt water, 1 box 12 x 600ml water, foods for 8 ppl for 2 days, induction cooker, pan, etc.
*
I also notice my car has very good climbing ability, feels torquey when going up hill.
