thx for the info ching...btw i feel very dizzy while driving my new saga especially when there's traffic jam....the respond from the engine is slow...is like after a while when i step on my pedal then only the engine start to rev
*
Just like the Savy AMT version, got delay one, i think is due to the drive by wire. Sometimes i drive my sister's savy i feel dizzy too but you will get use to it. smile.gif

I think the ECU learns the drivers behavior, if u are a light footer then less power if u are a heavy footer then more power.

I think i better print an article on proper way to engine break in, simply simply rev will cause glazing on the cylinder walls and so so performance only due to expanding gas escaping into the crank case also due to the improper way on engine break in that the piston rings didn't seat nicely.
Simply rev will cause heat and heat will cause glazing and stop the proper seating of the piston rings, you have been warn =p

*
I booked the manual at 1st but i change auto because my SA say im the only one who booked the manual. nway i also dont like the feel of the new GB so soft yawn.gif

When im accelerating i can hear klok klok klok like lose screw inside the engine, i suspect is the IAFM. Strangely when i make a right turn also got that sound but only sometimes, driveshaft maybe?

who Ah F*ck ? so new saga absorber got sound problem , so all saga owners , if u got this problem , must complain to the proton SC .
*
The newer batches already got a improved version of the absorber because proton got too many complaints already. My car is mid January as indicated by the sticker that is stuck on some parts so i guess im still using the old version. Going to get it fix 2moro cannot tahan tongue.gif

Who told u?

Go read motortrader forum they have owners there too. Same problem as mine. Nway funny la the kluk kluk sound gone already when i drive today but it was constant last night. rclxub.gif
I notice at peak 4k rpm the car accelerates strongly the rpm climb so fast it really surprise me. ohmy.gif
I love my car so much wub.gif just like driving a continental car(comparing with my mom's aveo) solid feel and handling only a bit of body roll when cornering. and bout the issue of the door ajar light coming up when going on bumpy road is there but i dont mind smile.gif
And bout the N.V.H is quite good la but lacking of insulation on the wheel arch area any small stones get kick up you can hear it clear inside the car.

fyi, aveo is not an conti car..its a korean...daewoo if i'm not wrong...
hello brother chevrolet Aveo is an American car, daewoo is a subsidiary of General Motors in Korea it's not known in Malaysia smile.gif
Aveo is called chevrolet Aveo not deawoo kalos as its known in Korea and aveo is classified as continental cars.
Sauce : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chevrolet_Aveo
Sauce : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/General_Motors

And btw guys my engine also got that ticking sound, seems like every saga has that problem, i think it's the injectors pulsing sound, because my wira has that same sound before and i later found out it originated from the injectors opening and closing rapidly when i listen closely and put my fingers on the injectors can feel the pulse going tick tick tick.

BTW ANYONE UP FOR TT NEAR MY PLACE WANGSA MAJU? FEEL LIKE DOING DIY GROUNDING WITH 8AWG WIRES IF ANYONE IS INTERESTED I CAN BUY IN BULK. rclxms.gif

well it could be my bad bro, but thru the wikipedia page i don't see where it states aveo is classified as a conti car...if that is so, is lexus and acura conti cars too since these two brands started off as a specific US market car only?

i would love to do the grounding too but will it void warranty?
*
Grounding should not be voiding the warranty just an add on not moding anything also. As for aveo i know its posted in the motor traders mag in the continental section. smile.gif

Oh ya a break through for all saga owners out there i found a simple solution to the blinking door ajar lights when going over bump i found out that the door sensor is not long enough to be depress fully so i added padding inside the rubber so when i close the door the sensor will be fully depress after that no more blinking lights when going over bumps. Mine was the right back passenger door.Just take out the screw and the rubber and add padding inside be it anything from papers to eraser just make sure its not too big but enough to depress the sensor fully when u close the door rclxms.gif No more disco lights at night

anyone here can tell me how to configure to 30 seconds autolock????
*
Can configure one meh? I only know how to silent lock la. As for auto lock it happens always once all the doors has been shut, wait 30sec and it will lock itself. Today went and pump petrol pay money came back the door was lock laugh.gif luckly didt left the keys inside.

I do not have any problem with the blinking light due to the door is not fully close. Maybe you should take it back SC and ask them to check for you.
*
Not the door fault door is ok close nicely only the sensor not depress properly, too short i guess so i added padding and problem solve. tongue.gif

mm......do u all feel the engine extremely no power <2000rpm??
then the power suddently 'kick-in' after 2000rpm..... ><''
*
Mayb you didt not properly break in the engine. I tried a proper way of breaking in the engine by once awhile reving it and now i get power from all ranges 1k - 6k rpm the car keep pulling when i 1st get the car same thing as you below 2k lacking in power after some happy reving for a few days the engine is more nippy.. Hmm dono is due to the voltage stabilizer or not because all this happens after i install VS as well.

ur proper way to breaking in engine is rev it kao kao although just the engine still so new? whistling.gif
*
Not rev it kau kau la, later will cause glazing and your piston rings will stop seating already. Its by mileage 1-200 km you keep it below 3k rpm and every 20km you rev it to 4.5k and sustain it for a short period if too long heat builds up you get glazing of the walls, then from 200-400km keep the rpm below 4k and once awhile or every 20km rev the engine to 5.5k and keep doing this by increasing the rev and limit of the rpm every 200km 5k limit,6.5k short burst and so on till u reach your 1000km of service. After the 1st service you will get a more nippy engine compare to those kiasi ppl who keep their engine below 3k rpm till the 1st service. Nway this is a risky method if you screw up and glaze your engine walls while performing engine break in thats it your performance and fc is not going be be at its full potential. smile.gif
This is just my own opinion and based on many articles i read from the net, if you don't like it pls keep it to yourself and play safe this is just my method and im seeing results from the way my car is performing.

This is my own opinion i will not be responsible for any future performance lost or high fc if you screw up tongue.gif
