hey guys , managed to test drive both saga BLM and myvi .... frankly, saga is worse compared with myvi ...pick up bad , passenger seat kind of small and not enuf for 3 adults to sit and not to say , no ABS ... sad case man ...and the steering there is kind of high and hard to control on the steering ...dunno how to describe...maybe its normal for u guys , but if its compare wif Wira ... wira steering is better..at least wont that straight ...


and the speedometer there , too small .... decision made and decided to take myvi .... saga is playing on price , Rm 39k wif no ABS , small seat and 5months waiting period...shit man

Rm8k+ wif extra ABS , better interior design , engine and so on... ABS is for extra safety purpose ... it doesnt mean that u will drive fast k... dumb .... its a must for every car nowadays ... 5 months waiting period mean there are a lot of medium earning ppl can get the car ... coz its Rm35++k.... last time myvi waiting period is around 6-8months ... now they hav increase their manufacturing capacity d... no longer need to wait 6++months .... 1month can get d...

wat i mean for steering is , its too straight until ur hand wont feel confortable .... and the engine use by so-called blm is ... old technology wif noisy engine .... my gf's waja engine getting noisy and noisy ... regret getting it ...

better interior design? I don't think so, go slightly scratch the both car plastic interior with your nail and see which one got better quality plastic interior. design looks good doesn't mean the material is good. this was based on myvi user complained and i tested myself.

yeah ABS for extra safety but i don't think it is a must for every car. go around the world and check the car accident rate, why malaysia always got the highest even compare with ABS (malaysia) to few years back that ABS still not implement to car yet (oversea)? it is driving attitude that make malaysian thought ABS is a must, people like you thought having ABS can save your life? without speeding and maintain the distance between car, ABS will never kick in until you change the car. I've been driving waja with ABS for more than 5 years, I never use the ABS, not even once, I don't think ABS is a must for car, it just an extra safety feature and it is optional. with good skill, attitude of driving, ABS is useless.

waiting period so what? myvi need to wait that time i didn't see you complain about myvi? now saga need to wait and you complain about it? most new car when launch that time sure need to wait for a while to get the car. myvi already been released to the market for quite some time, you comparing the waiting period time? are you the one who dumb to do the comparison?

i got wira, waja, saga and unser at home and i drove camry, kancil, sephia, civic, myvi before. I don't feel much difference between those car steering. if you get into dislike of something, for sure you can get some reason to dislike it.

what engine you think myvi used? you thought it is not noisy? try drive fast and compare the noise, i dont think it is quiet than saga. you want to talk about waja, then how about talk about kancil, kenari, kelisa and complain about the noisy engine and wind sound?

honestly, i drive constant 100-150km/h in highway. i never said i drive 60km/h, dont try to be smart ass. no matter how fast i'm driving, i'll keep at least 3 cars distance in front of me, if raining or wet condition, even further. who say drive slow in highway will get hit by other cars? you are the one who got those thinking that cause car accident all the time.

ABS, yeah for emergency brake, but with proper driving and distance, ABS will never kick in as i said earlier. I did have some experience on emergency brake but with the distance in front of me, I don't need ABS to help me the braking. YOU.....I guess you always tail gate until when brake it will automatically lock the tyre because you are too scared to drive slow in highway and thought highway must drive fast....

how good you think Perodua has? Check around and see are there lots of complain about myvi? less doesnt mean dont have, this same goes to proton, not everyone has complain. If both brand comes out in the market together, i dont think perodua can get that much support since the QC is the same.

We are not talking about modification, we are talking about stock car. If want to talk about modification, then no matter how bad the car is, I can just change everything to track car parts and hell yes I would say, just 40k+ or lesser only...

seem like we have a same problem here. The difference is my driving style is 60% highway (80km/h and above) and 40% city. Right now the fuel consumption is 10L for every 100km (proton claim for manual 6.2L per 100km)
The fc doesn't improve much even after 1st service

This car has a serious fc problem. The fc make me feel like i'm driving a 1.6 auto car

saw one of this car at night while driving behind the car and i tought it was a mercs... lolx.. the tail lamps really looked lie a mercs.. till i was centimeters closer.. nice car man..

QC PERODUA wins over PROTON a lot! a lot of proton stuff have limited warranty with powered windows problem that cannot be fix in 10 years car production.

ABS doesn't make your braking distance any shorter. Just look at the name, ABS = Anti-lock Braking System
ABS just make your car easiser to control when applying emergency brake.

it is same as i manual brake my motorcycle SS last time... when play with disk brake... i brake and release and brake again and release a few times... it really shorten the distance... by hitting brake directly...
car is also same... no abs... if u hit the brake directly... the car will move.... quite a far distance...
with abs... it is auto hit and release the brake...

ABS is a good safety feature and I prefer it compare to airbag. Too bad the saga only include airbag not ABS. Maybe Malaysian do prefer airbag compare to ABS
