Tried telling them that , well you know they are the ones who has the technical knowledge so i have no grounds to argue with them.
*
Actually, we do have grounds to argue with them. We are the customer and now we are unhappy because there is a defect on their product. Companies are not suppose to sell customer defect products.

We might not have the technical knowledge (alas, they might have a little knowledge, and try to make an impression that they are damn good about it when they are not even close), but we are their customers. They are the one who need to explain to us, and fix the problem.

You know, I think (i'm generalising, but i have a good reason to) when customer complain about something and the company/technician/SA says "It;s like that", customer bluntly accept it. Because of these, companies take advantage of customer.

Know your rights. Do remember that your car is still under warranty and brake is under their coverage. The air sound might be a small thing, but you need to exaggerate the situation, like "What happen if because of the sound, which might indicate and issue, and you technician ignore it, and I got into accident because the brake fails me? Are you going to take full responsibility? "

Or for some over the border words "I know my car is cheap for you, but it's my hard earn money and I still value my life. Or is it that my money is too little for you to see the defect in my car?

Then ask him "What is the number of your Manager, and what is your name?"

That should make him move, but I advice you don;t go back there next time tongue.gif

My car have these noises coming out of the dashboard area. When it was time to service my car, I log in the complain about the noise. I left the car at morning, and comes back later that day. The noise is still there. I didn;t bother and on the next services, I log the same complain again. Same, nothing seems to happen. So the next service, I log the same old complain again. But this time, when I pick up my car, I ask them for a test drive. The technician all of the sudden seem surprise why there are sound coming from the glove compartment. He says ok, he;ll fix it. But need to leave the car for few days. So i leave it for few days. After I retrieve the car, I didn;t test drive with the technician. I went home and for a few days, silent all way long. Then it comes back. Again, on the next service, I log a complain, but this time I started talking, such as "Last time I log a complain saying that the dashboard got sound, right?" (receptionist looked at the computer and agrees with me). "Why the sound is still here? Can you please check how many times I complain on the same thing and it;s still there". An engineer (not sure he is, i think he's a supervisor or something, his shirt have name and engineer sewed on) comes out at that time. I then targeted him, a lot of people are there too at that time. I say "Why my car's dashboard area has been rattling and it's not been fixed after so many times of service?" Poor him, because he was like "huh?"Then he say "oh, this is a common issue for this car". Then I asked him " Then can it be fixed or not? I can hear the rattling even when the radio's on. This has proven to be a very discomfort issue for me." He quickly reply " It can be solve, I'll look into it. You need to place your car here for a few day"

After that until now, there has been no sound (touchwood touchwood). Sometimes you need to bring this up to the higher management

But i was told by many that the rust is ok one, that place always rust because of the close contact with water when it rains. More over its a solid steel and its not hollow inside so we should worry about it ,that what many mech told me la(not proton mech).

Any idea is it possible for us to change the drive shaft by ourself by using 3rd party parts (if there is any)? How much it will normally cost?
