Let's see, common problem compiled so far..

1. Krok krok sound during low speed (absorber? - try to go to a curvy jalan and turn your stering all the way to the right or to the left and go slowly, see got sound or not)
2. Jit jit sound from door. Sometimes got metal sound
3. Sometimes look up to the light can see disco light. And the door indicator will blink when driving. This is due to lack of contact for closed door, SC can fix this.
4. One member (forgot who) says that sport rim for M-Line bent when langgar lubang 2cm deep, so lembik
5. Engine light went on and stays on. (how to check?)
6. Clarion player (skipping radio - si si sa sa sound when listening to radio - antenna not wired properly)
7. When IAFM kicks in, got tick tick tick sound - need to change the whole IAFM

Things to check when getting the car.
1. Rusted driveshaft.
2. Check for glue marks on your car windows.
3. Locking and unlocking using alarm.
4. Bukak and tutup all 4 doors, bonnet and boot.
5. All 4 covers for rims intact. (the one with ploton logo)
6. Try opening all 4 doors. Some says the handle hard to pull. And try locking the doors from inside, the door lock knob pull up and push in.
7. Test fog lamp and all lights.

Normal stuff..
1. High FC - this is due to new engine. We need FC report for those who have gone for 1, 2, 3 service
2. Si si sound normally starting at 4th gear (normal - IAFM kicks in)

Just now i when to SC then they tell me... to come on Monday...arggh... and the sound from the front passenger is known by the Proton HQ....

HQ already come a memo on it... If that the case i assume they know what to fix,right??? The person tell me... we still need to check and it will take at least half a day???

Hello???? if there is a memo on this... won't it be pretty clear that they should have known where is the fault??

Went to SC just now, they said the rusted drive shaft; "normal laa"..
So we are all 'rusted-Proton-car' buyer..

Is that mean no repair or replacement?

BTW is it easy to see the drive shaft or need to remove engine cover?

My engine sounds almost like lori ais (quite loud...) and SC also told me: "its normal"..
I think its quite loud rite?? Or is it really normal?

Sounds loud or not loud is not the big matter.. Only curious is something faulty there or is that only a normal behaviour..

i just take my car new saga on 30th Apr.... a black m-line MT
just now i check my car driveshaft also rust but not that serious ....
i think Proton QA still the same haven change at all........... really sad & disappointed on malaysia national car
force us to buy rusted car .....
i remember when i take my car........ inside my car have few sticker write "QA Pass" then one on the windscreen there have a small sticker write "Anti-rust" la
can anyone tell us what a rust driveshaft will effect the car. Will do any damage ... ??

I think they already know the drive shaft is rusted but decide to use it. It hard to miss it since the worker can see the rust clearly during assembly process.

should i cancel my mind to get a BLM as so many ppl complain about it?

I'm goint to SC tomorrow, known a worker over SC there (House got another 2 proton car all deal through him at SC), last time my absobar problem get fixed within 2 hours time so let see what he can do for me this time.

it's normal.....mine ...i can actually even feel the engine vibrate the car......3 smooth vibrate and 1 stronger vibrate that can make u jump up abit.....u can try notice when u stop at the traffic light, turn off ICE and feel the engine!

called my SA today, says that 6 more to go b4 i can get my blm. estimated waiting time is 1 more month.(doubt it). SA said that their branch got it slow(proposed me to buy myvi??i though he is just SA for proton??!!!!this is first time i called my SA since loan approved back in 10 feb.
Booked fr proton edar jalan genting kelang branch on 1st feb, no free gift!!! no follow up!!!! with 1 standard ans . wait LO???sigh........
(for those who wanted to book their blm, do ask for free gift!!!if any la!!ask SA to stamp chop estimated waiting time on ur booking slip.and PLS PLS PLS remember to Book ur BLM Fr A Bigger Proton Edar Branch...heard fr other will get car faster wo.dnt now true or not la?)

i just open my car front bonet and see whether got rusted part...indeed i have it too....haiyo just got it last week sumore...so fast...
even my car rim there inside also got rusted parts...i heard is like that one wor...if kena water...since our country everyday rain

Not suppose to rust easily after a week. If it is like that, image your car in a year time

today i went glenmarie to service my car. after servicing i went makan in SS15 then my steering got some funny sound.. i didnt care. i went to work then in the afternoon when i was about to drive out to buy some makan. mana tau the steering sound becomes louder.. i took my car n rush to the glenmarie service center, to find out that my power steering burst underneath it..the liquid is driping from the power steering shaff..i was so pissed off.. i said to them "before i came ere i got no problem"..but when i finish servicing this thing happen.. then they keep denying it.. so i kept quiet. monday they gonna chage it for me.. lucky got warranty..that thing koz RM1000+ to change it.. Fuk-ers dun wanna take the blame for the damage..
