3. What are the other types of warranty offered by EON?
Parts Warranty is given to all parts purchased at EON service network for 6 months or 10,000 kms, whichever comes first.

Rust Proofing Warranty is given to all PROTON vehicles, which are treated with anti-rust spray for 6 years from registration date.

4. Can I use my own lubricant/engine oil at EON Service Centre?
Yes. EON will not be responsible for any problem arising from the usage of other brands other than our recommended lubricant/engine oil.

i spend RM550 on the tint ...

I only got RM50 for the petrol.. that also .. What the SA promise also cannot give... I have to tell him off...

How can I recommend you to my friends.. when you cannot even keep your promises.... Then only he reluctantly gave a nod...

I was fed up with him ...i told him... "Will you pump the petrol or you would like to deduct the from the tint ". That cost me RM 550... in other words... I am doing my tint for RM500...

He say alright deduct... <--- see... if i kept quite on the free petrol he is ignore it...

Please guys... becareful ya....

Btw, anyone that was recommended on doing anti-theft lock on your car?

hey what engine oil you use? The recommended engine oil is the Petronas Mach 5 20W-50 Mineral Oil.. But read from autoworld forum, the sifus there used 15W-40 which resulted better pick up and fc..

so guys.. the rusted part the proton warranty doesn't cover? how? seems like quite alot of u guys face that problem

Guys, my saga is having 2150 mileage. Can I dont do service in one year time? I mean just change the "black oil"

spend my entire day at the SC yesterday..lucky thing i manage to call my fren to come and pick me up to lepak around.

They fixed my front suspension problem d and now doesn't seems to have any klok klok noise coming out. My door knob problem also fixed and its ok right now with all 4 of the knob comes up and down at the same height.

Plus the SC helped me to fixed and check the whole car wiring system. Apparently the accs shop that help me to install the immobilizer did the wiring wrongly thus cause quite a number of fuse to burn. So i got charged for the fuse they replaced and they help me to rewire it again and double check it as well.

Next i need to listen to the IAFM noise d, seems i'm really unsure abt wat noise should i be listening lol. Btw the SA told me that for FC only after 5k they will take in complaints. If its lesser then that amount they will usually brush it a side as "new engine" break-in period.

Btw i just noticed that my drive shaft is rusted also Since from the post i read here all were unable to get it changed, wat should i do? spray some WD 40 on it? pretty worried that it might break off....

syntium 800 is semi sync engine oil it should be better than normal mineral oil but the prob is its viscosity is at 15W-50 which i think a bit heavy.. right now i'm considering engine oil with viscosity of 15W-40 which can give better pick up and fc.. but i duno will the thinner engine oil make the engine noisier

you have to follow the service intervals, first 1000km, 5000km, 10000km, 20000km... etc
if you don't follow, it will void the warranty - you can check your service booklet for more info

It doesn't really matter, they won't care. If anything happen to your car, they have the rights to void your warranty and ask you to pay for the service charge and parts. But they put the sticker there, ask me go back service at 6400++, i went at 5400++.

who got modify ur BLM saga ? put the picture see ..................

walau i kena cheat already they charge me RM450...install at the bottom one of the steering below...they said install that one is to lock the brake pedal...and unable to start the engine....unless is unlock...

today i went to Sc to check the krok krok sound at the driver seat near air cond there....
spend my time from 9-2...only tell me that cannot be fix is cause by installation of the anti lock....now i need to wait to get the person who install to see whether is the problem...then my back door lock both always jam the knob....then they said nothing...

they nvr even do anything....spend so many hours waste my time...somemore i realize my engine bay noise so loud d...dunno what they do...
i damn angry....until i gastric pain d...

- the sound maybe from lock but maybe not...
- ur rear door knob, the SC should take out ur door trim to check.

Thinking of going public with the finding? Kinda sick of proton's empty promises. Thought of writing in to the news paper?

If you people still got this poor service from Proton, I think you all better take some serious actions. If not later you all gonna suffer because proton still think they can cheat people.

Not proton's fault, top management ok they want to be the best, down the chain of command theres the problem, THE TIDAK APA ATTITUDE that the workers have, in one week work 3 days break 4 days.

my BLM saga just at friday for first service , all total pay RM 105.40 , Is got enpensive bo ?

I think it's just the culture that has been ingrained in Proton. Yes, the top management is good, but it is their responsibility to change the attitude of those down the line as well.

My silver saga is a base line model which does not come with assist grip and boot light. I went to the SC along Jalan Cheras to ask them if they could fix for me. They said I have to get from car accessories shop. I have tried Brothers, but they do not have the assist grip. Could anyone please let me know where to get?
