Yes... You should really put up with them. Sometimes, a company needs more feedback from their customer so that they could improve their services. But since you've already returned it, i am not sure what they can do.

i think celcom is similiar to maxis. but i heard that they get disconnected lots of time. and they also cap the speed for downloading torrents.. for me, i could get up to 120+KBps. Its consider fast for me already. I don't do online gaming and such, so, its very sufficient for my usage already.

QUOTE(prasys @ Jun 30 2008, 06:31 PM) Hey there, Oh.... thats cool.... maybe i can tell my customer about that on how to terminate Maxis without paying RM200.All you have to do is simply send a letter to Mr. Darshan darshan[at]nccc[dot]org[dot]my (replace it. I've mainly typed in that manner to avoid spambots from spamming his e-mail address). Just send a letter and explain your situation. Let the NCCC folks post up your letter and let them forward it to the MCMC and other relevant parties. Trust me , it will tremble them and you'll be able to get your refund. Use your rights (as a consumer). Just make sure your voice is heard. Do attach relevant documents as well so that Mr Darshan can help you in this matter. This person has helped me a lot in my case against Maxis , which later allowed me to terminate my Maxis Wireless without paying RM 200 termination fee ! |

lol.... this is Malaysia. Its something like doctors in malaysia. Doctors in malaysia holds the right not to tell patients on what's the medication they are giving. In taiwan, the patients have the right to know what they give and if there are any mistake, doctors in taiwan will loose their jobs and have to pay back everything they've earn their entire life.

cherasbabe, if you wish to get it faster and more stable, you should try to go get the new RM68 antenna that is 14dB. It boost the signal tremendously.

QUOTE(ape @ Jul 23 2008, 10:54 AM) Nope. If you could get coverage there, it would be pretty weak. cuz currently, the tower in shah alam is at bluewave hotel.QUOTE(kev da man @ Jul 23 2008, 11:56 AM) stupid izzi now limits my upload speeds >.< bloddy uploading a 300mb file to youtube takes a night to complete. what gives? Uploading 300MB to youtube may be slow as youtube is not a local server. second of all, the traffic in youtube is unpredictable. but to be frank, izzi's upload speed is slower than others but stable than others.QUOTE(timsozai @ Jul 23 2008, 02:24 PM) anodize,i wan to know about izzi connection details may u send it to me by pm?does it need house phone or anything,im from sabah, maybe we can bring it here somedays ;p No. It does not need a land line. We are focusing in Klang Valley for the time being but will spread to JB and then to penang before nationwide. Sabah, the demand there is rather low currently.QUOTE(cherasbabe @ Jul 23 2008, 04:01 PM) No. Izzione does not come with free antenna, other resellers doesn't even give a free antenna even if you buy izziyou.QUOTE(cherasbabe @ Jul 23 2008, 06:44 PM) iZZione, rm66/mth You'll have to buy it separately. PCMCIA(izzione) is not recommended as the product would be discontinued as most of the new laptops would not have the pcmcia slot. However, you could go and purchase the RM68 antenna. you can contact me if you wish to buy.does the pcmcia UT comes with antenna or need to buy separately?? i'm stuck with the kitchenware now.. QUOTE(afoaszuizm @ Jul 23 2008, 10:04 PM) Want to ask...is this wireless bb good or streamyx?how much cost if i want to register to this izzinet? Each of them have their own capability. you cannot compare an apple with an orange. As for how much the package, you can refer to my signature. Izzi uses Radio Frequency thus it is totally different from other providers such as celcom, maxis or digi. If you wish to compare the price, you can alway PM me. But to be frank also, comparing the price, you should also compare with the quality. Izzi is currently the cheapest package.Added on July 23, 2008, 10:08 pmOne more thing...izzinet use what coverage?e.g: celcom...maxis...digi...maybe end of this month want take izzinet...but if its so expensive...want to fikir 2 kali...huhu... QUOTE(cherasbabe @ Jul 24 2008, 12:30 AM) agree, no streamyx coz i'm at new apartment... no TM line... otherwise i'll take streamyx rm60 combo.. 384k is better then izzi Cherasbabe, you will vormit blood if you really go take the streamyx combo. you might think that 284k is better than izzi but trust me. you would vormit blood. The combo package is just a marketing strategy.izzi ping very unstable.. kennot tightvnc to office! |

i was wondering about that question too... but my guess is, the material they are using are totally different. The outdoor antenna is huge while the indoor RM68 antenna is small but stronger.

ktoo1216, I've done test at your area and i find that the area is way tooo congested as there are too many students subscribing there. I would not suggest anyone there to get izzi untill they've build another tower around that area. This is because there are too many students torrenting at 1 single tower which would make the bandwidth lesser for other subscribers.
