i jus subscribe to izzi you 699 package and i'm facing a big prob here. I'm using mac and after installing the iburst terminal then i plugged in the USB modem. the signal is freaking strong but then when i go to download.com and download some application for my mac, prob arose here. Man, the dling speed only up to max 3.5kb/s , hell man, that's even slower than tmnet dial up.... I was wondering does the izzi driver that i installed will affect the connection speed or izzi is jus so lame? I'm staying at Vista Komanwel C block by the way. tell me about it.. i am with them for 10 month also and facing the same problem as u their support staff tell me tons of lies.. say the technician will come back to me lah.. on mc la... too bz la... i even ask her name also and she give her name as lina if i remember correctly... and alway say... will get back to me.. but after 10 call of will get back to me i also fed up already 

and when i go to their road show and ask the coverage from their sales staff they tell me my area is under coverage ... but when i tell them i use my friend(just to test them so they layan me)to test the speed sucks they tell me its already improved and should be fast now .. bleh.. than only i review but i am using it already and really still slow .. after i tell that i become a hallow man.. and he pretent didnt see me and walk away...    joke of the century... keep it up and u will lose all the customer ....

Rain doesnt affect my speed nor connection lol. I still can play online games or download stuff at full speed in rainy days.
anyway, i came here to say that the iZZi Antenna (14 dB Gain) suck. Waste buying it lol

Im using iZZiPRO and i get full signal. My download speed usually around 900kbit/s.

The bad part is when i plug the antenna, my signal sometimes goes to yellow. But then i had to find a suitable spot for the antenna to get 100%. Nevermind that,

when im downloading something WITH the antenna, the download speed will be around 40-60kb/s.

Then i tried to unplug it straight, my download rise to 100-125kb/s.

what the heck? lol.

i tried it more than three times just to make sure.

My point of view, the antenna more suitable for the iZZI UTU/UTE/UTC, but not UTD.

So for those who bought the 14dB gain antenna they must at least know where is the base station located? lol..fine with me..

but then from what your saying, sounds like the original iZZi UTD antenna is much more better than the 14dB gain antenna.
Like ive said, its much more suitable for iZZI UTU/UTE/UTC since they get the lowest signal.

Anodize, if i want to terminate my izzi, i need to walk in to izzi office, ask them to terminate and wait for refund? Btw, mine is using credit card easy payment scheme. So how's the refund being done? Max how long i get back my cash?

IZZI internet broke down in PJ (near Hilton) again from

23 September (Tuesday) 9:20PM till at least Wed morning probably around 6:00am (I know because when I tried logging in again at 4:00am it is doesn't work).

That's a total of close to 10 hours of inaccessibility. That's it. Izzi bunch of joker technicians are asleep at the wheel - meaning they don't even know if their network is down!!!!

This is the last straw!!! their internet licence must be cancelled and given to other (hopefully) more reliable operators!!!

Where is the wisma olympia? How to go there? Any lrt stations nearby?

I rather get metrofon although it suckz. At least i can get constant 500kbps instead of fluctuating speed between 0k to 200k...

How's the coverage and speed?

Complaint N times, finally got the answer - " It's NORMAL (?????) to get speed below 330k in ur area, we had done a speedtest outside ur house and found that the maximum speed in ur area is 330kbps"
Can you believe this? Then why dont they upgrade their lousy services?

I asked if I can get an antenna, the answer is " I dont think the antenna will helps, coz ur signal is 100%, antenna is ony useful for those who r getting poor signal.

Asked me close all firewalls, antivirus program, and said mayb this will help. (told him i tried b4! and no use at all! ) Asked me to ask Microsoft how to shut down antivirus program that is running behind.

Asked me to online at my balcony (open space) coz the signal may b blocked by the walls. When he heard that my balcony is the place to hang the clothes and really no place for me to online, he said: " I still suggest that you shud online at ur balcony instead of your room, coz izzi is best to use at outdoor".

Asked me whether i can use second laptop or desktop to online instead of using my current one. Tell me who owns more than one laptop at home? You think all ppl so rich ah?

Finally i asked whether i can unsubcribe the service, the answer is " You hv subscribed our service for more than 6 months already, if you wan to cancel, we can do for you, but you still have to pay for the rest of the months".  I wanted to stop the service earlier but there's no other 'good' wireless service in KL and it's not convenient for me to get streamyx coz I'm just renting a room in KL.

So as a conclusion, i hv to stick to this lousy service, even have to wait for 10 seconds or more for a page to load. Even get into yahoo or gmail also have to wait.

There is no way i can get better speed with my RM104.83/month izziyou and (accoridng to them) i should feel grateful that i'm getting "NORMAL" speed now.

Anodize, can you help me calculate how much i can get from the refund if i cancel within 90days?

The plan you're selling if different with the advertised in izzi website because your plan is 13 + 2 month, so a bit blur about the refund. Can you tell me again whats the RM1616 for when registering? Subscription how much? Registration how much? Just tell me in detail whats the use for the RM1616.

For the refund, how is it calculated?

9 month refund RM118 * 9 = RM1062

- OR -

15month - 3month = 12month * RM118 = RM1416

- OR -

13month - 3month = 10month * RM118 = RM1180

Plus, i got another 30 days free from izzi. Does that count in my refund? Really blur about the refund, please calculate for me. Thanks.
