QUOTE(Prodigius @ Aug 19 2008, 03:17 PM) NEVER use IZZI..makes your life miserable. My guess is, you are not a wise consumer... Do a test run at your area before subscribing. Instead of just complaining here, why not go to izzi office directly and demand for a refund. Make sure to bring your receipts along. The service totally SUCKS!!! Connection sucks, service sucks, everything sucks!! Still waiting for my refund after 7 weeks. They promised that the refund can be claimed within a month. After weeks of calling, still the same answer: "we will check for you asap." What kind of bullshit is this? |

QUOTE(Prodigius @ Aug 20 2008, 01:14 AM) darn..guess you guys are really troublesome. do i have to go through all the details? of cuz i've checked the bandwidth..sigh..please...if you need DETAILS you could have asked..as i have said earlier I dun make nonsensical accusations..the bandwidth was good for 1 month, then the problems start to occur. instability blabla..(still need details? WISE consumer?) thus have to just cut it off lah.. Lol.... Well, supposing you are a wise consumer... but so far, i have no complains from all of my customer except for one which is in Klang. And to be frank with you, i've never come across any company that does a refund within a short period of time. Even if i want to get a paycheck from RTM, it would take at least half year to get it. My advice, go and bug them more... then of cuz i gave them their stipulated time, as they promise within one month. still they couldn't keep their words for the refund duration. So what is this all about? I am not a illogical person. but it has come to my limits with IZZi.....SUCK!! Can you PM me your details? Please state in the PM: UTID: Name: Date of subscription: Date of Termination: Package Taken: Place of most usage(your complaint place where the speed is slow): I'll see if i could get to know what is going on with your application of termination. |

Yes.. bring everything that you have to the office. And no, they will not deduct directly from the credit card. They would write a cheque to you or bank in to your account. But to be more clear about things, you can always give a call to their CS.

QUOTE(Prodigius @ Aug 20 2008, 08:32 PM) There were not much complains doesn't mean there is NONE right. I understand that the refund process may take a while, that's why I said earlier I gave them a window frame of one month, with they promised. I am not a troublemaker that wants to start issues. But if they cant comply on what they have promised, I have the right to complain right? Furthermore its not one month only, its 8 weeks. After the one month period, I have been calling every week. They keep promising the same thing. "It will be done by next week and we will give you a call". So please try to understand. Its frustrating. I still have to pay the installment, but there is no cash in. How am I going to pay? I am sorry. I am not gonna help you on this. I've already told you that not many people like to read your frustration post. You can ask advice or things like that or maybe if you have frustration, just do it once... you do not have to keep on saying it.. oh... and yes... installments, If you do not have the money to pay the installment, why would you want to do an installment? just for ex: if there is no problem with your izzi, you will still have to pay for the installment... and now you are saying "HOW AM I GOING TO PAY?". If that really is your question, you should learn how to control your cash flow. Like you said in you PM, there is supposedly 15 numbers in the UTID, to be honest, I have only 14 in my cancellation form. See what I meant? Its so careless of them and this shows how poor their services are. By the way, as you mentioned there is not much complaints right, so why does it take so long for the refund process? I am sorry again if i have hurt you with my words. There is a saying that when you use a finger to point at others, you are also using 3 other fingers pointing yourself. |

okay.... if you are using izzipro, go and buy the panel antenna and face it to usj 1. If you are using izziyou, buy the omni antenna. This would help your connections.

QUOTE(mitmivec @ Aug 22 2008, 08:42 AM) i have 2 antennna one short and one long one both also the same thing... the longer one can only get 30% now where the shorter one cant get any Those 2 antennas are indoor antenna. what i am referring to is the outdoor antenna. QUOTE(aarondotcom @ Aug 22 2008, 01:40 PM) Anodize, Which part of cheras are you living at? Please be more specific. To what i know of, there are no penalty fees. To top up, it will only cost you RM88 per month. but if you subscribe to more months, you'll have futher discount. You can check on your izzi login channel.im izziPro user. I subscribed to izzi already more than 1 year. Do u know wat happen to izzi network in cheras? I can't connection to their network at night around 12am frequently. I have called their CS, but seem like their operator just simple give me a reason to entertain me. They said hardware failure la, everything will back to normal after june 30th. But till now i still faced the same problem. And compare with half year ago, the speed now is much more slower. Another thing curious me are, if i stop using izzi for few month like i didn't top up my account, obviously it will be suspended automatically, if after that i want to reactivate, do i need to pay any penalty? Or just top up my account then can already? QUOTE(Characuta @ Aug 22 2008, 05:18 PM) Ermm... where is Danau Kota ah? and didn't do a test run before you subscribe? Whom did you subscribe with? What else do you have beside the User Terminal? What is the package that you took? |

izzione's is not recommended. Its signal is poor and the speed would be slow. If you wish, sms me to make an appointment to do a test run at your area.

if you are going to subscribe to izzione 3 months package, yes... the speed would be slow at 512kbps. but in terms of signal wise, if you subscribe to izzione but use izziyou to dial up, izziyou would grant you better signal (With antenna would be even better).

QUOTE(Characuta @ Aug 23 2008, 01:57 AM) Danau Kota's geologically is about Genting Klang lol. And yeah.. I did get my friend [Izzi agent as well] to come over and test the speed etc. It was ok the other day [Thurs] when he came. So I subscribed for Izziyou for 6mths period for RM699. I hv nothing else other than the terminal. Nv thought of getting the antenna since my reception here nv been bad. Lowest ever I got was about 75% I think.. Ah. you see, the tower at genting klang is congested already. If your friend is the agent, he should've known that the area is congested and should not have told you to buy it. I think your friend might be a third party agent where he does not go directly to izzi thus his information is not that accurate. I wouldn't ask my customer to buy izzi if i knew that he is living in Setapak,Genting Klang or Wangsa Maju area. This is because there are too many students there with izzi. I would only KIV for them if there are more towers up at that area.To have constant speed, the signal should have 100%. |

QUOTE(McMac @ Aug 29 2008, 03:59 PM) Anodize, Yes. you can use the modem. If its not a refund, the modem belongs to him and if the his package ends, he can sell his modem to you. and you can use his account ID and password to log in and top up using credit card where the charges are RM88 a month or cheaper if you top up a whole year. However, if you wish to get a cheaper package, go for izzione 12 months package where the fee is only RM66 but it will be RM88 when the promotion year ends. If you don't understand what i mean, give me a call, we can come out yam cha and explain to you in detail.i have a friend who is using izzipro now and no plan to continue and will switch to other broadband service. i was thinking to get his modem and subcripe to izzione or izziyou and make use of that modem. i did call izzinet to check and support person said cant use that modem as their system will keep the utid and that modem will not allow to continue once subcription expired. however, when i call technical person, he said can use. can u check for me about this? i'm planning to get a izzione or izziyou within this 2 months and planning buy his modem and use for my acc. btw, what is the current promotion that going now? interested in izzione and izziyou only. my friend get 1 month subcription free but until now (11 months) still not reflected in his acc and that's why he want to change. thank you. QUOTE(Alphawolf @ Aug 29 2008, 04:02 PM) guys, i've being using izzi for 10 months now, and i had discovered that the technical service is very bad (they almost never picked up the phone), and also, it's very slow in certain areas (like Damansara).add to that, it's not the cheapest Lol... what sort of technical service are you looking at? Yes... certain areas are slow... and thats why i offer test run at customer's place before they purchase it. Maybe you can name some that is cheaper and please compare an apple with an apple.i would switch to another service once my contract runs out.. my 2-cents worth.. QUOTE(Goneraz @ Aug 29 2008, 04:14 PM) ha... i just went to the office in Olympia tower today to cancel my subscription after 3 months of hell. I have to say the service from them was really really bad. Every time i call them to make a complain they will blame the signal, the moon the sky and the attitude is really bad. You will get a shock when you see their office in Menara olympia.. Now i have to wait for a month before i get my refund I can't give any comments about their staff as i have no problem dealing with them. Maybe is because i have a better way of communicating with them.... hehehehe |

QUOTE(alvisto @ Sep 2 2008, 09:16 PM) I just bought Izziyou from Eric ( Anodize ). A great guy with a great service ! Wouldn't hesitate to lend a helping hand if you need to. Thank you for the compliment... however, speedtest is never accurate. It doesn't matter if its a local speedtest or other hosts. The best way to test is to try downloading some stuff. The other day when i tested at your area, the speed there was about 400kbps while the signal very unstable. I'll try to check for you again if there is anything wrong with the tower near there.Even though I am impressed with the "customer" service by Eric, I wasn't impressed by the speed. So far the speed is like this at 9pm. Signal 100% ![]() I live at Prisma Perdana, Taman Midah, Cheras. Hope that this speed is because of peak hours. Pray Pray and boh bi boh bi that at midnight the speed will rocket up high like crazy !! Haha !! EDIT : Without any download you know ! |

QUOTE(alvisto @ Sep 3 2008, 10:29 AM) Well. with that antenna, the signal is quite stable at above 90% lo, but speed wise making me pening leh. Bro, I've check with them that your area is covering a few places thus your speed is not constant. However, I will ask them to check again. When the signal is weak, you are getting signal from Mines. I try downloading something lo, like Megaupload is around 10KBps, Xunlei crash with bluescreen 4 times( I wonder why even though I updated to the laest version), and Deluge under 10KBps. But at one particular half hour, I use Orbit to download a FTP file can reach 50KBps??? Haha. And based on experience, I would have to say that browsing internet is quite crappy 50% of the time. Thanks ar brother. At 6.05pm ![]() At 1.00am.[attachmentid=580168] Looks like bad speed whole day. Haih. QUOTE(Characuta @ Sep 4 2008, 01:01 AM) Anyone staying around Genting Klang facing crappy connection these few days? I mean.. even simple web browsing and stuff. Cz I've checked from time to time that my Signal Strength is 100% almost all the time but it's tad slow.. Genting Klang is very congested by college people. Thats why its very slow. |

QUOTE(Miracles @ Sep 4 2008, 01:28 AM) Don't worry. They are acquiring another tower in sunway. When the tower is up, sunway would not be that congestedQUOTE(alvisto @ Sep 4 2008, 01:36 AM) Mines ? Mines resort ? Walao. Ok, tomorrow call them. Now is a bit stressed out & depressed already. Exam + Izzi = Alvis, focus on your exams first. you wouldn't want to fail your doctorate. |
