try maxis 3g b4, speed write 7Mbps, strength full... but browser nothing show  thumbup.gif

I guess when you said 7Mbps, it meant you are connected at 7.2Mbps connection. Else how can you tell the speed. Anyway, I'm not promoting maxis or others but just giving some explanation. When it says you are connected, it really means connected. If you can't browse the net, usually there is a problem with DNS server. Try do a ping to 8.8.8.8 (Google DNS) and see if you can get a reply. If you get a reply but still can't browse meaning a problem with DNS server and it's time to manually set the DNS in your configuration.

I see. Too bad you got the bad experience. I admit at certain time and place, Maxis do sux. But if given a choice, I choose to decline iBurst. My internal WWAN modem can connect to any HSDPA/HSUPA network compared to iBurst with its bulky modem. Smallest being their PCMCIA modem which most newer laptop manufacturer longed time excluded the slot in the production.

The 54MM Expresscard is expensive and restricted to 54mm slot. Nowadays, USB modem also getting obsolete. The future is WWAN modem for HSPA. Most newer and advance laptop already equipped with such slot. Next thing is WWAN for Wimax.

I have been using Maxis for 4 month now because got free modem drool.gif ... one more month will cancel and switch back to izzi i think ...
Maxis vs Izzi -

1) Izzi got torrent and night run is nice
2) Izzi daily capped so ok for me .. can use up to 15 giga a month

3) Maxis after use your data plan will cap and it s*cks 1.5 giga
4) Maxis can stream ... but with cap still s*cks

Waiting for some promo from Izzi ... i want free stuff like last time ... one month free + umbrella, towel, car shade , etc ....

i'm an izzi customer since 2008. Last time i stayed in kuchai entrepreneurs park and the connection was damn good.

Now i'm living in Bandar Sunway and the connection is good too.. Always get more than 500kbps.
I'm thinking of subscribing the auto-debit credit card. Cheaper, only Rm66 per month rite?
