Great insights.

Ahh....CST. Too bad im not the handy type. The last time i got handy was when i tried out DIY headtracking which worked!

Hm....maybe i am handy after all.

Speaking of that, I failed on the mounting of the headtracking thing. doh.gif

Gonna rework on the design.

We use it to use our head movement to look around the cockpit virtually, so we could know is it safe or not to overtake in a side by side situation, or just look at the exit of a tight corner, which u wont see if ure looking straight ahead without head tracking.

but game like rfactor have built-in yaw, look-into-apex as u turn and u can adjust it to ur own rates, if DIY headtracking is unavailable.

Hello sim racers! I'm considering getting a G25 wheel. What do you think would be a fair price to pay in March 09?

800+ seems acceptable price for me... not cheap, but yeah, that's what have to pay for a high quality wheel. I've gotten a few quote for 900+ to 1000+ which I dunno... for me that seems to cross a certain "line" that the $$ better spend on other things, especially when I would like to have this gaming accesory but not like die-die must have.

Anyone bought a G25 recently like in the last couple of months? Can share how much you paid for it and from where?

I do have this problem too but what I did is off the wheel and then turn either center or to the right and let it re-calibrate itself.

That worked with momo. But with g25 it seems to be abit more complicated than that. The wheel simply lost calibration when driving. and have funny2 locks and dislocated center.

In the end Ive get rid of all traces of 'Logitech' and 'G25' from the registry and use Vista default driver. For Vista 64bit, its is known that the driver is abit problematic.
