nope.. it stays the same cuz there's a replacement for it..

Just like the MOMO, I don't see the price increase although its obsolete..

sequential is nice when u have games that required u to have fast respond on gear shifting, ie: initial D on ps3 tongue.gif

Btw, to answer your question, what I think is that depending on the demand for G25, if its still very high then we should expect the second hand price to be high.

That's what I think.

Hey guys have any idea which steering wheels have the best performance for ps3 Gran Turismo 5 and NFS : Hot Pursuit?
The G27 ,G25, Fanatec Prosche 911 Turbo S wheel , or Momo racing?

sorry to interrupt, i posted a new topic in gamers hideout because i didn't realize there's a wheels thread at under hardware section.

here's my question:

i want to ask how does the logitech G27 clutch function?

1. if you don't press the clutch, you can't shift? but your H-shifter you can shift right? how? by pass the clutch?
2. how does the clutch feel? (real car we can feel the clutch's friction to the power delivery)
3. heel-toe down shifting... what's the benefit of it? if you don't rev while down shifting, the engine or gear box will blown?

1.) Depends on game. Arcade/sim. Arcade = simply whack, gears still goes in. Sim = Over rev too much, engine goes boom. e.g. shift vs rFactor. Auto/Manual trans of course. You can just shift gears but depending on game, it will effect your car.

2.)clutch feel? in relation to the car behaviour you meant, in terms of hardware. G25/G27 has the best pedals setup out of the box, unless compared to those aftermarket ones which cost a bomb. Else it's up to the game to simulate manual tranny mechanics.

3.) lots of info in the internet. Google it. Heel-Toe

For GT5, i think any wheel is ok, cuz its up to u to want more turning degree or not, and up to ur budget.. of cuz the more expensive wheel will give u better experience.

as for NFS, depends its the PC or PS3, cuz I don't think MOMO works on PS3 NFS, altho it does work on PS3 GT5..

I only can answer question 1 as I haven't tried G27/G25 yet..
The ability to shift without stepping on the clutch can be set in the game, eg in rfactor, it can be set auto clutch where u can shift without using the clutch or can be set without auto clutch where u'll need to use the clutch to shift..
many players like to use the auto-clutch function thus enabling them the remap the clutch pedal as brake thus making the distance of the brake and throttle less closer to each other for left foot braking.

if u are talking about hot pursuit 2010..its bad but still playable after you are really get used to it..
wheel saturation is really bad....less responsive..
the game itself lack of support for wheel controller..
several times i had to reconfigure the assign key(it doesnt detect automatically) even it mentioned has been saved..
no wheel settings in game..
they(criterion) claimed the incoming patch will fix this and add other new features..

edit: typo

just click reply on the post then everything settled, no need to manually quote the post

RM900+ then go for G27..
GT5 and Hot Pursuit is 2 very different game, GT5 is more towards simulation while HP is total arcade..

Google up sim racing and arcade racing if u not sure what's the difference..

if u wanna make full use of your wheel then go for GT5 of course..
