130KMH to 30KMH in 2 sec... sure or not ?

btw braking to try maximum G is kinda risky.
*
Don't mention about braking from 130 to 30, you will just lose control of your car since you are locking the wheels lol

Rarely see a girl want to buy wheels, want play NFS is it?

QUOTE(maranello55 @ Oct 18 2009, 01:56 PM)
Most importantly, simracing has thought me much about car dynamics, control and safety driving. And also as a channel to drain the adrenalin. So on the road I just drive safely (not necessarily slow, too slow can be dangerous too).

Do it Hawatiri's way....get on a roller coaster and feel the Gs....doing it on the road is risky.
*
I completely agree with what you said. Even though sim racing lacks the Gs but still we can learn tons of stuff from there. One thing I learned is that we cannot just simply push the throttle down all the time, it's all about control~

QUOTE(maranello55 @ Oct 18 2009, 04:04 PM)
Rowan Atkinson is an engineer iinm...thats all i know.

Dude.. I didn't know he was an engineer. I always thought he is just a talented actor lol

have any one of u build any sort of stand or rack to put ur G25 or G27 on them? I am thinking of building one but i need some idea frm the sifu here.
*
If you talk about racing rig then got a lot lah in the internet. But for your question, do you mean like you affix your wheels then when you want to play that time you will shift it to your computer?

QUOTE(snowdrop89 @ Oct 20 2009, 01:14 PM)
How long can you all drive while using wheels ? I usually can last like 1 hour before feeling very tired.

My FFB settings too strong or my driving posture is wrong. Or it's just normal ?
*
Are you feeling comfortable when driving? I don't, and usually like you after 1 hour I will feel tired because I don't have a proper or comfortable chair to sit on and those brothers in MSR they can race hours non-stop. You try to adjust softer because for one the motor won't have to work so hard in fighting your resistance and two you don't need to use so much strength to counter that resistance. laugh.gif

I bought a side rack from carrefour and made it into my g25 mount. Its a low rack and its suits my very low seating position (rite on the floor). The name of the game is improvise. Unless ure handy type, then theres alot of sample online on how to do it ur own. Like by using PVC pipes.

This is a very good vids for PVC contruction. Just improvise for racing cockpits.

Added on October 20, 2009, 9:23 pmPls be as comfortable as u can be when driving. Uncomfortable posture and extended time of driving can cause pain.

I invested on a racing seat and sit myself comfortably and build my racing cockpit around that sitting position.
*
Nice finding you have there mara. I would never thought of using PVC pipes to build a cockpit more so a flying sim cockpit. It's cheap, it works the same like any other commercial racing sim cockpit.

As for the posture, my chair is 90 degree angle just like any other normal chair got cushion some more.. laugh.gif but only if I could adjust it slightly backward then it's perfect! rclxms.gif

OT : Bro mara, what happened to MSR site? I can't seem to load it.
