It is the fundamentals the move the market, this is why I was always right in GU. There is no rocket science here.

As for Yen, Yen is always being use as carry trades, people borrow money from Yen to buy stocks because of low interest rates, when the stocks plummet, traders panic and sell stocks and demand for Yen to cover their LOAN. So it is Very obvious that the correlation between Yen and stock market is VERY TIGHT.

wat im tryin to ask is, is there any book out there where it got written about this common sense...

i've got USD200 with me. should i change it into RM or just hold it? USD seems to be dropping now.

im playing with demo account from fccast and using its fxcast pro software.. may i know is ther any diff between mt4 and the platform provided by fxcast?

beside, may i know wher can i get the news tat will affect forex? is that movement of share for a country wil affect its currency as well?thanz..

Had a good run yesterday night, very slow long on GJ but worth the wait

Something like that, but I cannot be always right all the time. Besides looking at the market keep hitting the numbers, I also judge base on fundamentals, momentum, the previous bounce level. Normally the euro likes to break slightly below/above previous bounce level or turn down slightly below/above the previous top.
The Yest bull was triggered by a surprise better than expected German ZEW.

Right now the key level is 4611,4628, and the euro need to stay above 4547 to retain its bullish form. Because looking @ previous time frame it has been keep messing around there.

Of cause the fundamentals always come first, should the USA retail sales come out a surprise green. then u will see euro dive back down to retest 4500, 4488.

as for Normeck, there is ur 210.xx GJ I hope u are happiest man now.

I wish LYN have a live-chatroom function - I would've posted it in the first post so that we can have live discussions whenever we do our trading at different opening market and news updates.

Theres plenty chatroom we can use, YM conference, skype, ventrilo (need a server), teamspeak( need a server), gotomeeting, etc.

But will you guys participate in the live discussion? Yes? No?

For me, I already change to daily timeframe trader(medium term trader?). Dont have the time to monitor the market every hours. So as for discussion, i dont think i can discuss anything except for higher timeframe. Or we can discuss strategy or learn something from each other. (But i wont teach my main strategy. )

Edited: well if most of you really want a discussion, just head to ForexFactory malaysia thread instead. Theres plenty of discussion there.

Actually what I am trying to say is, you just watch the direction of the overall stocks. If major stocks are crashing then the xxx/jpy pairs will be going down, while if the stock overall is going up the Yen pairs will generally going up.

The only factors that affect the xxx/jpy, is the xxx fundamentals, for example, GJ is affected by UK economy too. And you should also pay attention on Japan interest rate policy(which IMO they hardly change).

Most of the time the xxx/Jpy pairs movement is drive by Dow Jones & FTSE Mainly and Asian stocks as well. Spend your time watch how the Yen pairs move with the stock market.

You need to spend enough time to earn money in FX, there is no easy way.

LYN once had a live-chatroom stickied in Kopitiam (for a week), it didn't have much of a problem

Good question on participation using online messenger, but that is the thing, who will contact who at what time.
But if its a dedicated chatroom located in the first post, anyone can come in to chat, discuss, leave a message - all in real-time.

Well, just a suggestion (if anyone supports it, I thought of bringing the idea to the Feedback section), since I think it is also applicable for the Stock Exchange sub-section.
Practically since these 2 topics (forex and stocks) are non-Kopitiam materials, where we will only discuss on the financial trading issues.
