What platform you use?
You will probably need more Vdimm to achieve that speed and timing if using AMD platform due to the memory controller. icon_rolleyes.gif

After adding another 2GB kit of XMS2DHXC4, I have got errors running memtest86 on test#3. I can't set the timing to 4-4-4-12 like I used to when I am running on 2 modules only. With 4 modules, I'll have errors on test#3. Need to loosen the RAM timing back to C5 in order to solves the problem. RAM voltage set @ 2.00V

It seems that running 4 RAM modules is not really recommended. It will reduce OC rate and increases memory errors. sad.gif

This is not a database.
Threadstarter didn't even create a database in the first post.

This is just another DDR2 discussion thread.

TS, this is how a real Database looks like:
http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/425344
http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/321443
http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/510567
http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/622326

Start a real DATABASE before this thread is merged with the LYN's DDR2 Discussion.

Ermm...how about AMD also use 2T ???

-pWs-

for amd, i think you would be referring to am2 setups right?

1T is better then 2T in amd platforms, but, i think stability is an issue with 1T beyond 900~1000mhz regardless of timings

and happy cny to you wink.gif
