4 out of 5 for me. Did you guyz noticed there were quite a few scenes from the trailers that are not in the movie?
Overall, it's a good movie. Pure action from the start to finish, but don't expect ROTK scale of epic battle, so lower your expectations. |

QUOTE(tonYe @ Dec 17 2014, 10:34 PM) I saw it in IMAX 3D and I really couldn't tell if I was actually only watching in 2D and it certainly didn't feel like it was in HFR. Yeah, I noticed this too. It's not as smooth as previous two movies. It's like watching normal 2D 24fps.Anyway, the film's good. Cliched and cheesy but with satisfying amount of action. The most less draggy one compared to the previous two instalments lol |

QUOTE(ur4m3shi @ Dec 19 2014, 02:35 PM) err.... why need spoiler to talk about reference to LOTR movies? the movies out like for ages already Yup, it's a scene from Extended Edition. Watch too many times already, now confuse already which one is standard or extended. lolregarding aragorn's age ... im not sure if it is mentioned in the standard version ... im quite sure its only available in extended editions |

If I recalled correctly, even in the book, it does not specifically mentioned whether they have met before Council of Elrond. But Aragorn was tracking Gollum and after capturing him, he delivered Gollum to Thranduil. So, there's a possibility that Legolas and Aragorn bumped into each other, while Aragorn was there in Mirkwood.
