Tell your friend to consider something not 100hz.
The 100Hz part doesn't really matter unless you have videos that are natively 100Hz. Most people who buy 100Hz TVs do actually turn it off anyway.
100Hz and 60Hz no big difference. 200Hz then only noticeable (first impressions la)

Plan to use it for movies. Already done many surveys and goign to either of this two. insist for 100hz >,<

100Hz is pretty useless.
Some shops will tell you that it does make a difference and play some stupid reference video. But don't forget how most media is made for 50/60Hz TVs. Until 100Hz sources become widespread, it is useless.
Futureproofing is something that applies to stuff like 1080p, but 100Hz doesn't justify its price tag.
If your friend really wants 100Hz and has deep pockets, go all the way and buy the Sony Bravia Z. That one has 200Hz and can choose 100Hz or lower via the menus. If he wants speed, go all the way, don't go half way. If futureproofing is your primary concern, going all the way is the only way to play.

I don't know if my Samsung 32" 6 Series have slow response or what, but anybody experience like when you move your crosshair fast, you notice "ghosting effect" with your aim (using default good guy gun), like you see a fading red dot trailling behind your actual aim dot.
I played many FPS games and only notice this on Killzone 2.

Guys, i have a question regarding my Philips 42PFL7603 lcd tv ... it had a motion blur just like in the video below when playing ps3 even when HD Natural Motion is already turned off (it lot worst when the feature is on)... Philips Motion Blurso , is it a common thing for this thing to occur coz when i played ps3 on my 37 Bravia S Series, no motion blur occurred? or it is caused by hdmi cable? I dont think so coz i used the cable that cost me Rm150.... so just wanna know, anyone else have this motion blur problem especially with same model as mine? I don't think its a very common problem. Try contacting Philips. Btw, when you go on PSN, never play anything one?

Natural Motion does not increase fps.
If the game has bad fps, it will look the same, since the TV doesn't know what frame should come next.

I just got myself a sharp lcd 42A66M. since i only viewing it on dvd and astro in the electrical shop, i just found out it was terrible on Xbox360, even my LG plasma better than it. What i mean is the contrast problem, dark became too dark and the bright side became too bright. btw, im using a component cable only. or anything i should adjust to make it better ?

Turn off 'black level enhancement' in 'advanced settings'. Calibrate properly first also. TV shop don't know how to set it up
