A friend of mine plan to buy KLV-40W400A from singapore..he said the LCD got international warranty...does that means that he can send it to sony malaysia for warranty if anything should happen?

wana ask sometin about sony w series.
i saw a demo using ps3 with this lcd tv (32 ") at a local shop
but the graphic looks so bad
and theres an obvious moving horizontal lines surrounding each object ..the demo game was resident evil 5
u guys know what might caused this ?
mayb they use standard av cable ? that result in bad graphic ?
cause i plan to buy this tv ..
at first i want samsung, but i heard sony has low input lag
really appreciate if u can shed some light on this plannin 2 buy it next week

resident evil 5 demo resolution only 520p.

can anyone point out to me the differences between a:
1. Plasma Full HD TV and
2. LCD Full HD TV?

Both are the same (in terms of rez) only different technologies which have their very own pros and cons.

I just bought a Sharp 32" HD ready LCD TV for RM1599
Now need a HDMI cable, the standard AV makes me puke >_>

Update: I forgot I have a set of component cables at my old PS2. Now happily running at 720p/1080i I am very satisfied. Now left the HDMI cable to go for my PS3. The component cable I will use for my PS2

I'm planning to get a 37" Full HD LCD TV for ps3 and blu ray movie. Which of these 3 lcd tv are better?

SHARP 37" Full HD LCD LC-42A65M
PANASONIC 37" Full HD LCD TX-37LZ80 MK
Samsung 37" FHD Lcd LA37A550

On paper, Samsung is the best with Gaming mode and high dynamic contrast ratio. For those who like rich color, then this is the one.

Sharp and Panasonic only loses out a lil in contrast but Sharp's PQ appears to be more natural while Panasonic's black level is superior. Both come with 2 years warranty while Samsung is only 1 year.

Sharp and Panasonic panel are renowned for its quality.

Guys would like to know if Samsung 32" Series 6 is good for gaming?

Is it something you won't regret after buying (other than size)?

A650 ain't bad at all for the price tag of approx 2.5k

better u bring ur ps3 to the shop and test it..make sure u buy it afterward...

32A550 is fullhd rite? should go with that.
