Have to agree on this. Plasma still the best option for fast moving scene. The reflection panel issue isnt as headache as before since they adopt 'anti-reflective panel'

QUOTE(nders @ Jul 3 2008, 11:31 PM) hi people. I need suggestions too... I need a 32 inch tv for x360. full 1080i is not a must. Hi, all 720p panel support 720p and 1080i. Only for 1080p signal, you need FULL HD; 1920 x 1080p to appreciate its 'beauty'my primary limiting factor here I think is budget (or i'd like to call it "value")... I don't have a set budget, BUT, just give me your opinion on the most "value buy", meaning it has the best price/quality ratio. thanks in advance! |

QUOTE(stringfellow @ Jul 8 2008, 06:28 PM) Upscalers can be good provided you pair them with the right components. Silicon Optix Reon VX chipand its other iterations, and Sigma's offerings can upscale them to near-HD quality. Notice i say near-HD, not true Full HD. Reminds me of Onkyo SR875 and NR905, which is using Reon VX. |

QUOTE when buying LCD TV, how to check their static contrast? most of their advertisement show dynamic contrast only... Here's a very informative article for you abt DCR and CR : http://www.practical-home-theater-guide.com/contrast-ratio.html |

I will choose 32A53M over Pana. Moreover it comes with 100Hz too and the colour is not overly rich. Btw, 32LX75MK is obsolete

RCP - Means it is the retail price by manufacturer. In this case, it is negotiable.

It's better to trust your eyes than the salesman.
Yes, the Sony panel and Samsung panel are from the same supplier. However, the processor (heart of the LCD TV) is of utter importance, which will affect the PQ of the LCD TV. As for Sharp, even if it is made in China, that doesnt make it a bad product as such MNC will impose stringent QC as to protect their image. No offence, the salesman is a crap! |

seriously, RM1,000 is very unlikely for the coming months even early next year. Unless, for those non-popular type such as GC, One and so forth.

Pana - 5 years warranty. Lifespan is est to be 100K hours (40k hrs more than most LCD TV). You do the maths.
