Say if i were to get one one soon, which would you guys recommend ? Was looking at 37" - 40" models, Sharp Aquos, Sony Bravia V or W series. W is really pricey, and is the motion stuff really that beneficial ? (Sony's contrast and colour seems better on paper). Any good reviews on the Aquos ? A friend was telling me the Aquos now uses Samsung panels ? How about the Bravia S series ? Good or should just skip to V series ? Would really appreciate it if you guys could list out the model number as well. Oh yeah, potential devices for the LVC would be a PC via DVI, and Nintendo Wii. Seribu terimakasih.

More than that actually, but my main gripe is they outsource everything and stamp a Sony logo and sell at ridiculous prices.

They outsource everything, like R&D and panels. If they are good I wouldn't mind paying for the extras they charged, but this isn't the case, well at least not for me. Everyone is entitled to their opinion in regards which is best. Sony isn't for me, but others may think otherwise which is fine as long as they are happy with it

That's what I thought, but I have to admit I haven't been following their news until they recently laid off even more R&D staffs in Japan. Not sure about the operations here in Malaysia.

LCD can only display at their native resolution. any other resolution, it will be upscaled/downscaled to the tv native resolution.
