Two-thumbs up to Microsoft for releasing Vista SP1...

I downloaded the 434Mb version for my Home Premium 32bit....

It took about 50 minutes to download and about 1 hour to install....

It went smooth as butter. After the restarts, my Vista is far more...

1. Responsive
2. No more Media Center crashes
3. Menus in Start Menu open up instantly

Problems? None for me so far... It was as good as I expected. Also, my resource monitor on my Windows Sidebar is pretty amazing... CPU #1 and CPU #2 always less than 10% while RAM is at 40%

Now must download for my Ultimate 64bit... sweat.gif

Before that, its time to apply this service pack on my dad's spanking new HP Pavilion tx1000... biggrin.gif

Standalone includes ALL the important bug fixes from before + SP1, while the Windows Update way will detect what patches you have already and then download only the ones that you don't have.

For those with software problems after installing SP1 why not do a clean install.
