Do you have to sign any 12 or 24 months contract for those plans? If you do, then you are probably better off with something else. Vodafone seems to be having this promo where you get 5gb with $39, but only issue here is you have to enter a 24 months contract with them.

Just wondering, which uni are you in?

God! it's freaking hot in this place! At times like this, I wish I had an A/c in my room.

How do you guys deal with the heat? probably a good question for those in Adelaide now also.

I leave my aircond on for most of the times. Or I'll stay at the local libraries just to enjoy their aircond. Lols.

did u sit for ur ielts first before applying? i wanted to apply on that day but was too busy sad.gif
how much does idp charge to apply? and are there any other fairs where i can apply for free again?
*
Erm, I've asked most of the university in Australia and most of them said as long as I provide a letter stating that all subjects are conducted in english, they'll accept me(I'm a 2 years diploma student). So I did not take IELTS, I just get a letter from my head of school and present it together with my application form.

IDP charged nothing laugh.gif, it's absolutely free. That's why I applied for like 5 Universities? laugh.gif Because it's free.
Imagine if you have to pay about 50 or 100 AUD per application form. That'll cost me about RM150-300 x 5 Universities laugh.gif

I suggest you contact IDP see if they will organize anymore fairs or not. It's just a phone call. laugh.gif

Added on March 13, 2008, 10:44 pmOh yeah I have something that I wanted to ask.
So right now I've applied for 5 universities in Australia.

Now there are open days for a few universities and my college. Should I still apply for a few of them? As a backup if I get rejected by the universities in Australia.

But I have to pay application fees for these universities if I want to apply, it's not free so ...

Should I apply? Because my CGPA is 3.5, so I'm wondering if I can get rejected by Australian Universities or not ...

Today's temp is max 39C.... damn it and I seriously underestimated the power of the scorching sun....

Now I'm melting and soaked in sweat; my T shirt stinks; and the whole room is like a furnace....
