QUOTE(Cheesenium @ Jan 30 2008, 10:43 PM) I find IDP is quite useless. They didnt help me to find accommodation at all. IDP was pretty helpful in the beginning. But after helping me to apply for UniSA and receiving my CoE, they totally ignored my emails after that. =/ This post has been edited by snowcandy: Jan 30 2008, 10:55 PM

Does anyone have the link that shows a list of things not allowed to bring into Australia? I came across it once but I've forgotten to bookmark it. Now I can't seem to find that link. =/

And I doubt they'll sue if you credit them for the link. It's good information for new students such as me whom are hopelessly lost on what to bring.

Great information, december88. =) Will be flying off to Adelaide tomorrow night.
Just wondering, is anyone here using a prepaid line? Since I'm very new there, I definitely wouldn't have many friends to call, so would it be advisable for me to purchase a prepaid line first instead of a postpaid?

QUOTE(haya @ Mar 13 2008, 08:28 AM) God! it's freaking hot in this place! At times like this, I wish I had an A/c in my room. How do you guys deal with the heat? probably a good question for those in Adelaide now also. Weather's super hot in Adelaide. Sighs. I leave my aircond on for most of the times. Or I'll stay at the local libraries just to enjoy their aircond. Lols.
