lolz...i dont think it makes any difference if you are left or right handed,its just the matter of the relocation of the violins shoulder rest
i dont think age is a prob...just learn it if you have passion for the instrument...passion/love for the instrument is more important than age

guitar yes...violin? havent seen one...i dont think there is....but i dont think violin need to be a left handed one...change the strings location should help?tried it before?

i attended this really nice chinese instrument orchestra in taiwan,damn,i still prefer some chinese string instruments over western ones,for example the pipa the player is beautiful too >.<

gu zheng,i put it in the cool category,its has a kinda erudite & ocean type of sound...can be angry and mild,kinda like gandalf frm LOTR
but pipa... its romantic,sorrowful,petite...more of a woman taste in it
