Okay, I wanted to add something. You might want your child to know what is a viola too. Try to introduce them a wider range of instruments from woodwind, brass and percussion. Not to make your children to change their mind but to explore more.
By the way, there is one shop that sells wide variety of strings instruments. I think they have used cellos. The shop is nearby KLCC, City Square. Euro Music Distributor Sdn.bhd. CITY SQUARE (C10) JALAN TUN RAZAK 03-21642389 |

Guitar hurts the most. Because guitar got chords which hurt multiple times in one finger. Therefore, have to press the note harder compare with violin.

QUOTE(sarcast @ Nov 3 2008, 09:54 PM) ok la.. i meant the music instrument a normal band that plays. QUOTE(gtslyn @ Nov 3 2008, 09:54 PM) well.. i took piano b4... n will pick up violin as soon as i graduate.. =) meanwhile, juz playing a lil guitar to train my fingers.. ^^ Hmmm..I see. That is good.if i were to be given a chance to explore another instrument, it would be cello.. i kinda like the sound it makes.. i wonder how much does this instrument cost? i mean cheapest for beginners of course.. Cheapest cello is about RM1400, China machine made. QUOTE(sarcast @ Nov 3 2008, 09:55 PM) Okay, do not release your stress until the drums went kaboom. xD |

Well, I think everyone does that.
After all, we start Riots! Of course we do! Added on November 3, 2008, 10:29 pm QUOTE(gtslyn @ Nov 3 2008, 10:20 PM) Ic.. will consider it later.. Alright. SungeiWang's Chamber Music got such painted violin, I saw blue painted, not black but I told me that they can paint any colour for you but needed to order and wait.anyway, hv u come across the black violin on my pic? i mean in kl.. it's so cool i tot of getting 1.. haha! Added on November 3, 2008, 10:26 pm you could play aggressively.. haha! but electronic stuffs r fragile.. i wouldn't do tat.. For your information, painted instrument (only applies to string instrument) are the worst. It looks good but sounds bad. Disagree, I play my electric guitar aggressively. QUOTE(yunnie @ Nov 3 2008, 10:41 PM) Can you use natural-coloured wood instead of painting it? Most of our violins are natural-coloured. So yes. It does not not need to stick another wood for that.Or you still have to stick to the few wood materials to make a violin? Those painted violins like red, blue, green, yellow, white, black and etc. They take a normal violin and it just straight apply those colour paint. Thus two layers of paint.
