Very easy oni. I just did it for mine. Install iWorld then use iPhonebrowser to patch the AppSupport file. U can see the instructions n get the AppSupport files from Hackintosh.

Okay I found out another thing today.

If you guys are going to use the official dev team version to upgrade?

MAKE SURE you guys upgrade your INSTALLER to the LATEST VERSION while you are at 1.1.2!!!!

If you don't do this, and you go to 1.1.3.. you'll be screwweeeedddd.. lol...

There's a link a hackintosh regarding this.. but I lost the linkie and malassss... just finished my 1.1.3.. again.. lol

It has something to do with the permissions and where all the new applications are stored or something like that ... pening kepalaaaa...

hm, i'm editing the PhoneNumberTemplates.txt file directly, and I've put this on the top of my list:

caller id still does not sync even after a reset, am i doing anything wrong?

My only concern is the Contacts coz I never sync my contacts with iTunes and definitely dun wan to key in 200+ entries again... With this, the force of 1.1.3 is calling me, must resist...

Do I have to revert the telco's name in MIM? If yes, I should use "DiGi" for 016? I used MIM when I was abroad using foreign SIM, so not too sure...

I changed the SSH password when I jailbrake 1.1.2. Do I have to change the password back to "alpine" before update to 1.1.3?

hi i have a question...

1. does iphone have warranty in Malaysia?
2. it is unlocked?

Can someone with 1.1.3 tell me exactly what i need to put in the AppSupport template file? I followed the directions and placed at the top of the PhoneNumberTemplates.txt the following:

Inbound SMS and Phone calls still do not match with caller ID. Outbound calls are okay. pls help, this is frustrating.

All u need is good ol iTunes n nothng else. Just go to "Music". Hilite the song u want. Right click on it n select "Get Info".
Then select "Options" tab. Now select the Start time n Stop time. Press OK.  Then right click teh song again n select "Convert to AAC". U will now see another song of the same name below it but this time with the shortened time. Drag it onto ur desktop n it will be a  .m4a file.  change the name to .m4r.  Then just double click on the m4r file n it will auto go into Ringtones folder

I'm using Vista also. U need to change ur Windows settings so it doesnt hide file extensions. Then u can see the .m4a at teh end n then change it to .m4r

even after i mek it bcome a ringtone to the itunes and synce it to my iphone...
i cant find out wer is the location of my ringtone...i cant find in the ringtone setting in general
