ok my bad didn't read the rmvb .. rmvb - sheesh, bad quality, really bad official software that likes to install all kinds of things to your PC and hog up your resources.. but no choice since you ppl download a lot of HK stuff ..

Okay maybe you can try cucusoft or..MPEG4 Direct Maker can do a batch process conversion of RMVB to AVI, then use Videora from AVI to iPod video!

nah i never consider rmvb as a proper source,

it really sucks =(

i only rip dvd files to iPhone compatible format video files by using eRightSoft Super Converter.

yerr i dont like the wallpaper which i just got,

Real video format (.rmvb, .rm) is a proprietary by Real, thus it will be no free converter for this format. Maybe you can try some shareware (which tends to limit to 1 minute of conversion or affixing annoying watermark). Thus if need full functional conversion maybe you need to resort to a paid version of software.

The best is you convert first to AVI format either with compression or not (preferably use compression such as XVid to save more hard drive resource). After that transcode it into H.264 m4v or mp4 format. Just use WinAVI to transcode it into AVI. Yup, u can't use videora as it is built around FFMPEG engine which is not for rendering content like Real Video i think.

If can't afford to use a paid version, just use an ehem ehem version. Me myself is not encouraging for that.

mmm...me also not prefer videos with Real Video format. The quality loss is too much. Also remember that this format is mainly used to transport videos on the internet with a very much compression to reduce size and thus to save more bandwidth, but with sacrificing a lot of details. I think that an iPhone screen deserves more quality videos to be displayed with, IMHO.

Maaaaaaaaaann. I'm fixing an original V1.1.1 that was upgraded to 1.1.3 using iTunes by mistake. I downgraded it back down to 1.1.1, downgraded the baseband, jailbreak n then upgrade to 1.1.2 n jailbreak again. That was relatively fast n easy job. Now doing the Devteam 1.1.3 Softupdate tru installer, it's been on the IPSW download for blardy ages. Takes 4eva to load. Any of u guys experienced this while doing 1.1.3 softupdate tru installer?

Basket. I just checked my connection speed using iPhoneNetworkTest.com, my connection oni 60-70kbps! That's on wifi tru Streamyx! Then after about 1 hour it got to about 48% n got kicked out. Now hafta start all over again from 0%. Haih, damn sien, lidat, what time oni can finish rescuing this dead iPhone.
