Wow, geng... must be very expansive this gearbox with motor...

gear box around rm 120-150. motor also around 100- 120..if u direct from taobao.

Motor come with gearbox. You don't need to buy motor separately unless you're looking for something like better proportional speed or more torque motor.

First of all, I am not a Tank boy. (i am more towards in Rc aircraft) (Specifically, ONLY Japanese aviation)

and after playing war thunder ground force, i got attached to the Russian line and if you all still remember that I've asked is there any IS-3 Rc tank available on this thread?

hhhmmmm..... Nope!! ok! hahaha... I've asked before because thats the only Tank I am so interested in. The Spear Hull design, The turret Round Angle, The Huge GUN!!...the agility.... OH man!!! ok enough said... it is a wishful thinking to have this Monster made in RC...

Running out from option, as

i dislike German tank, i would not even want to touch modern stuff (only WWII era), this option directed me to T-34-85, Russian Mid tank.

at first i was like what the hell...?? but after doing much research on Heng Long and this tank, apparently, this tank hold most of Heng Long's latest upgrades (almost no MOD are needed to be add on into this tank) and its pre-weathered!! so, Just plug and play!!!

Look at that 2.4G Radio.... (Maby I can convert it to my Turnigy Moded with Frsky) let see how this radio hold up.....

The Sound.... i dont know... If you ask me about A6m5 or Plane sound i can tell... Tank...? forget it!!! hahaha.....

This tank would not look like a Toyish color and some detailing are needed to made it more historical accurate.

Some Dirt color on the Tire and Tracks... (seems not dirty enough) but I am ok with it....



Ran out for some Branches pick up.... and apparently not large enough need to go Visit the playground again with my T-34....


NOW!!! the time has come for me to UNLEASH MY BUILDER SKILLS!!!! hahaha..... COMPLETED 30% so far (building while watching T-34-85 Documentary from you tube) Good Idea eah...?

Things that i planing on Mod on this tank....
- NiMh batteries are so last century, Planing to mod it to Lipo compitable....
- IR Battle compatible (with keeping the BB with it) Thank that dont shoot stuff out from it? = a toy
- Convert the Radio to Mode 2 (Movement on left) (turret on right)
- A sign board on the T-34 @ss.... in writing (For MOTHER RUSSIA) or (Merry Me)

- Krylon Spray paint (red Brown)
- Krylon Spray Paint (desert Brown)
- Super glue or you guys call it cement (for the accessories)
- Rm 290 for the tank 1/16 scale

Congrats on the first tank!

About the sound, the sound in Heng Long tanks is generic sound. For real sound for that tank, you'll need to change the electronics which will cost you $$$. From RM300 to RM400 minimum. And not to forget you'll need to change the radio too when you changed the electronics.

The color oob look nice. Much better than other Heng Long tanks.

I see you're modeller. So the tank is in good hand.

regarding the sound, all henglong are of kv-1 diesel engine sound

Yup...! that's the closest way to get close to those War Machine that "WE" cant view it in Malaysia museum.. is to be a modeller... but I am still in niewbie stage

HL is good bcos it cheap, got extra money can upgrade, spare part r cheap & easy to replace. It give u a big space for u to mold.

current HL modern tank : Leopard 2 > ztz 99 > M1 > challenger 2 > " T-90A"??

Boring at the silver look of the metal tracks & wheels, I decided to paint them. Just using temporary colour, I'll paint them back with either grey or desert camo.

seems like my Heng Long Smoke generator Died

as expected.... because read forums, many of them had bad experience with it...

so, who are selling it? if its expensive... Iam ok without smoke

i main also didnt use smoke, the machine is kinda noisy that prolly drown the sound of the engine a bit tbh
