certain shop is selling 450d body + kit at RM2790 with bag, tripod & sp. But no sd card. need to add RM100 for 2gb card. just wan to ask fellow forummers worth to buy or not? i'm a newbie.

Although the bag and tripod which they include may be cheap stuff but RM2790 is cheap. RM100 can buy more than 2GB in Lowyat Plaza if I've not mistaken.

The Star today got Canon ads that they are doing their EOS roadshow at the end of this month at Suria KLCC. Lots of tips on how to use. Marketing talk though. Anyhow, they are offering an extra of 1+2 years warranty for selected models. But no idea which models they are offering. Are u sifus attending this roadshow?

Which shop gave u that price, if u dont mind me asking.
So far i've got quotations about 3.2k for a 450D wif kit lens. thats quite a distance from ur quotation.

Not confused my fellow forummer. Isn't there an unseen rule that we can not reveal the actual shop name, or something like that? This is to prevent solicitation for certain businesses. I certainly won't want to be seen as promoting that shop and this is out of respect for the competitors in the same business. Hence, I will only be as vague as possible.

Hope this clear the air when I say mod might ban me (notice I use the word "might" as in maybe).

Anyway, let's look out for bargain price for 450D!

Wui, anybody got any price lower than mine remember to post here ya. Also mention the package content too. I'll be much interested too.
