QUOTE(vikingw2k @ Jan 24 2008, 12:40 PM) Well, I doubt other brand's same range DSLR that can go ISO3200 can beat Canon's 450D's ISO1600. True la. But sometimes, noise is better than dark picture. At least there's a choice.Canon is among the best in noise controlling. QUOTE(shockk @ Jan 24 2008, 12:42 PM) Not the best now. Coz Nikon seems to be getting better Do you want to invest in super high speed SD card if u know u wanna upgrade to better dSLR tat using CF card in the future? By the way, seems like the option for ISO 3200 exist in Sony A200 but missing in Pentax K200D and Canon 450D. Is Sony a better option in low light photography? |

QUOTE(TheVoIP @ Jan 25 2008, 04:20 PM) You will never understand... It is not easy... It is like having a new galfriend or new car or new toy, we will really pay attention and spend time on new stuff. It is hard to explain logically... And 450D is certainly not the same scenario as Protoon Saga as this will be the first and also cheapest live view camera among Canon & Nikon camera. Live view really geng! Imagine in LRT you saw a beautiful gal, but shy to shoot her directly. So you can enable live view and shoot from odd angle (pretending just holding the camera), and no one know... Snap Snap Snap... smart le... Anyway, for me, upgrade must be in terms of image quality and pro feature. Not PnS feature leh. |

QUOTE(darthbaboon @ Jan 30 2008, 04:45 PM) Yeah I heard that the D40X can only use certain lenses because of this missing motor (else have to manual focus). What's up with this anyway? Forget Canon 450D. Now Sony A300 come with LifeView which is exactly like PnS. I heard TheVOIP is dumping his Canon 40D forIn comparison, the Canon 450D is able to use all Canon ranges of lenses I presume? Also, how does this Live View work compared to the PnS? Is there any difference or would this camera be the perfect transition camera for PnS users? Sony A300. He may sell his 40D for RM2.5k... |

QUOTE(TheVoIP @ Jan 31 2008, 09:37 AM) Then you yet to see the bokeh of the giant Canon.... With f2.8 at 1200mm, the bokeh is so blur that like there is no bokeh... I heard that Sony lens bokeh is the best in the industry with good fluidity. So you better buy A300 I do not care about vari angle LCD because I just placed an order with Doremo on the new 1Ds mark VI that has the feature + 4" LCD! I heard Nobita already took the 1Ds Mark VI. So Doremo cannot send to you. Nobita is more important than TheVOIP. |

QUOTE(Petre @ Mar 21 2008, 10:54 AM) Added on March 21, 2008, 10:58 am i doubt you will want to use iso3200 most of the time. dark picture? exposure is the key except for those who really like Canon. Exposure is not the key. If its the key, then why need ISO? can fix the dark picture issue. Added on March 21, 2008, 11:17 amAnd futhermore, Canon 450D does not have shake reduction. actually everyone should just buy 40D because upgrading is wasting money. 40D is almost perfect camera for the price. Should just skip 400D or 450D.

QUOTE(raymannlucas @ Jul 13 2008, 10:02 PM) there's alot of added function compare to 400D...u have to google and make some comparison...normally those shop tauke just wanna sell off their old set faster and persuade u to buy the old stuff.. like yesterday, i just found out a cool function in my 450D, the noise reduction which works very good on high iso... i would suggest u to do more market survey on the price as well...i get my 450D with kitlens for 2850 only...the warranty, just leave it unfilled and u can have extra warranty already...correct me if im wrong... the insurance? never heard of it rather than MAA insurance which cover up total lost sum to rm500 only... I'll take 450D anytime. But D80 is very tempting too.. |
