No ASA3200 is a bummer though.

Yeah true, but how often do we use ISO3200. Its usually used under emergency situation only wert, so i guess it doesnt really matters. The only concern now Canon should have is how they should place their pricing, so many dSLRS are launching around this time and they all have competitive prices. Hopppeeefullllyyyy, it'll be the price around A200. But sounds impossible tho with this kind of features. T.T

I dare to confirm that it won't. 450D and 40D is dSLRs of both diff range. Even the sensor size varies and of course, the continuos shooting speed. 3.5 vs 6? Definitely 450D will be much cheaper then de 40D but might be around the price of the 400D now. I think.

luckily, I can hold my breath to get 350D/400D last few weeks....
400D drop to Rm2k....should be reasonable...and 350D will no more produce oredi (heard from the shop)...now they do clearance...with price Rm1799 with all necessary items.

350D has been discontinued, 400D will take over the place of 350D while 450D will take over the place of 400D. Pricings not confirmed tho. Hopefully the price of 400D will be like 350D now.

I have no idea why they wanna switch to SD card, cause almost all professional dslrs uses CF card. Is SD card's writing speed really higher than CF? No idea.

there's SD card that gives 133x speed. And some offering higher speed. So i doubt that's going to be a problem.

It looks perfect with spot metering & auto pop up flash, which 400D lack of.

350D is still a good camera. It's just that maybe 450D is better, but dslrs have to keep up with the technologies you see. If not there wun be any improvements. So just get what suits you and your budget the best,

yup. if u read The Star - In-Tech review last time, they said that 400D had more noise than 350D, although the 400D had improvements in other areas such as preview screen, etc.
