more like controlling depth of field.

anyway my post wasn't about depth of field, it's about sharpness.

sure it can go f1.8 but for lenses, they're not at their sharpest when at their widest aperture. which is why snapping at f1.8 on the 50mm would mean that you not only have lesser DOF but also less sharp pictures.

yeah. i usually snap at 2.8. i might increase (meaning lower number) a bit if i need the condition needs it.

if getting 40D dun get BG-E3, get the BG-E2N...

Never buy the wrong lens. But u dun compare with the canon 24-70 L-series one lah.

The picture is very good and fast lens. Recommended.

I fell sad on my Sigma 24-70 EX f2.8 Marco. I just bought about 1 week.

Now the lens like cannot focus properly.

Like blur, How?

Stil got nearly 1 year warranty.

My friend tell me not to take by this lens if Fotokem change the new lens to me. This is becasue this lens alot of quality problem.

He propose me to take Tamron SP 17-50mm f2.8. Is this lens good?

I read thereview on this lens. this lens rated high in all review.

I really sad on this Sigma lens. Just serve me 1 week. Now gone.

I see cheapest price online between USD350 - USD400 which is still way cheaper than local. But no local warranty lah.. not like barcelona.

Get 70-200mm f4 first, then only get a Flash  and battery grip.

The pictures snapped 70-200mm f4 L gonna drive you crazy and you'll feel more numb when you spend on flash and a grip later on

but the 24-70 is expensive man owO" I would not have that kind of cash to get that lens.

btw, a recent shoot. Rather than venture more into fashion... this is more to conceptual.
