cat sand.. hmm clay type is it?

if yes, you need to consider 3 things in clay sand type.

First = Non clumping
Second = Clumping
Third = Got nice smell

The cheapest one is Non clumping. you can easily get this at the supermarket. Giant brand, tesco brand, carrefour brand. they are all cheap. but remember, the sand will not clump. so you can smell the pee and poo very bad. unless if you have outdoor litter box (for example, if u stay in apartment, your litter box is outside the balcony, then this one is ok). but you also need to consider your neighbor too eheheh, unless your apartment is corner lot

The cheapest of clay sand that clump and got nice flower smell is RM11.90. But very hard to find one. Do not know the name, because its written in japanese/korean language the pack color is grey and pink. infront the pack will tell you what type of flower (smell). this one not bad sand size very tiny.

Else you can go for Fussie Cat sand. Got lemon smell price range RM18-RM22 for 10L.

Else try local made KATTY clay clumping and got smell too (strawberry or apple). I prefer strawberry. They sell it in blue box, so easy to use. Price about RM24-28 for 10L.



The expensive one if im not mistaken is Arm & Hammer, in yellow box. I tried one, but not so happy with the price, because, expensive but almost the same with the cheap Katty and Fussie. So better buy the cheap one right.

Cleaning ears? Yes very important, you can do this 1 times a week (at least). Why? This is to make sure your cat does not have Ear Mites. Ear mites is very tiny, you cannot see with your eyes. They live in cat ears. if you see black/brown wax in your cat ears, thats mean there is ear mites. Other symptom, you will see you cat shaking their head, scratching their ears very hard, like something bothering them inside the ears. you need to clean this with soft towel / cotton bud, then baby oil. scrup the ears, baby oil will make the wax become soft. then buy this ear mites drop from petshop or vet. put 2-3 drops in your cat ears to kill the mites.

actually am staying in smart house ( it is an apartment but in two floors )am staying in the 2nd and my cats sand is indoor ,and the cats sand smell really bad,i never put the cats sand outside (outdoor) in the balcony i afraid my (male)cat will try to jump to flow stray cats voice ,so where shall i put the sand?

shall i keep it inside and try to figure something for the poo smell ?
or
shall i put it in the balcony?

if you want me to put it inside, can someone give me any help to take the smell away,it is strong even i change the sand 1 time everyday

got a sugar glider ,hedghog and hamster

if i put them in the same room witha a kitten but far from each other ,but they can see each other , will it stress them up?

for the first time just put them a bit far away,and soon as they will get used to the smell of each other, it will be no problem,becouse i have 2 cats and 1 rabbit at the 1st time the rabbit show some aggressive and stress but after 1 week and half they become ok,even sometime i leave the inside my living room with the cats under my watch and the cats didn't do anything and the rabbit also
just give them a time to get used to each other smell

just one thing u need to know, poo and pee will always smell ehehehe unless your cat know how to poo and pee in the toilet and flush it after that ehehehe. anyway, u can always reduce the smell, but not completely remove it change your litter. try use other type of clay sand - maybe the one with ascent. Or maybe you can try pine wood base litter. it smell wood. if you have hamster, then you know how it smell like or if you ever bought new IKEA product, then it smell similar. Yet still you will smell the poo and pee. ehehehe.

put air perfume in the house. Maybe you can buy the one with timer, spray every 30 minute, etc. can get this in any supermarket.

my cats litter boxes are all in a room. but i put air refresher to reduce the smell

very hard to answer, its all depends on your cat if you have pure breed persian, then it will be alil bit safe

just becareful with the cage, like hamster cage, im afraid the cat will make it drop. sugar glider cage might be bigger, so they cannot shake it, just lock it i have one cat that know how to open any cage without lock ehehehe.

my friend cat even go fishing in the aquarium. eheheheh. cage the fish with the paws.. fish got stress and jump out the aquarium

if that pure breed persian comes from a very good genetic, it will have the pure attitude. Good quality pure breed persian must be tame, friendly, likes indoor so much, and always welcome new friend (other cat). if you found aggresiveness in that persian, it might not come from a good genetic line.

El, today I realized that my Putih is having problems...she got drops of white, gooey thingy that flows out of her butt....wots dat???it's everywhere...I can see drops of that white liquid everywhere on my floor...and she seems a little sad....not eating so much...is it caused by the rough sex she had with two of my male cats?Hellpppp.....

Sleeping on their bed is quite easy, but if they can access other places such as your sofa or your bed, then jangan harap they will sleep on their bed.

Oren sleeps on his bed whenever he cannot access the sofa or my bed.

Scratching pole is tough.

Indoor cats can be trained, but outdoor cats, jangan harap jugak lah... I gave 2 scratching place for Mia, 1 pole, 1 box... My washing machine cover and sofa still hancur!



I have just treated both my cats with Frontline.

So yes, you can treat both at the same time and leave them together without a problem.



Cheapest cat sand, RM9.00 - RM10.00 also can get, but cheap does not guarantee quality or effectiveness, you will find more headache to clean these cheap one at the end of the day.

Look for what works best for you. Try and test a few brands of cat litter and see which one works best and is easy to maintain for you.

RM10.00 but you having to bear the smell, scrub the tray everyday also not worth it right?



NEVER EVER PUT A KITTEN OR A CAT IN THE SAME ROOM WITH SUGAR GLIDERS WITHOUT SUPERVISION!

Gliders get stressed easily by the smell/presence of a predator and feline family is a predator to them.

I keep cats and gliders, but my gliders have one room for them and this room is a NO CAT ZONE.

it normally come out with blood for pregnant women. which is normal. unless if its 100% blood, then something wrong.

Questions:
1. Is your cat ever pregnant?
2. Is your cat pregnant while having her mucus discharge?
3. When is your cat last pregnancy? or she is virgin?
4. Is the mucus smelly?
5. How old is your female cat anyway?

If it is smelly, your cat might have vagina infection. Some more you mention, she is not acting normal, not eating much. This include sickness.

I'm back for a while... on mc today so that's why got time to check check forum... hehehee...

Just came back from vet actually. Can't stand to see 3 kittens around my area with ear mites... goodnessssss, so pity them so i'm treating them, set up a cage outside my hse (thank God that my mom is ok with it!). Will put up for adoption once they are better...

One of them look exactly like a siamese (err, how to spell correctly?)... This siamese by the name of Sam Sam is super manja, she look at me in her eyes full of hope like begging me to keep her... i feel so bad for them!!! Arghh... (I can't keep coz i have 5 already) How come those ppl so irresponsible simply dump kittens here and there!

Hope to find them good loving owners soon!

oh ya, another thg... finally i found Origen for my cats... hehee, last week i was at pet lovers center and saw this Origen, i quickly bought it home...

Guess what... all my cats love it. I mix them with Eagle Pack Holistic... They refuse to eat Eagle Pack alone, must mix Origen for them nowadays... heheheee...

If she is pregnant more than 4 weeks then being raped, then i believe something to do with early miscarriage. if the misscarriage is getting serious, u might see blood with mucus.

Else, some believe that, its normal to have mucus after sex. Some also believe that the male sperm is not going inside the female cat, so it drop out.

How many is too many anyway? if it is stop now, then its normal. but if you found it for many days, and it keep dropping then its not normal anymore.

If it is confirm to be sperm, then you female cat now is 50-50 going to be pregnant. Pity she was raped
