Hi guys!!Last nite my male cat Bobby came home with a bloody back...I'm guessing he's been attacked by other cats....is it possible he's been attacked by a female cat?Can a female cat be THAT dangerous?....KP??

What makes you think he's been attacked by a female cat? I'm sure in the outdoors, there's more than just female cats...

However, YES, female cats can attack dangerously.

Some for protective reasons, some for territorial reasons and some just plain do not like other cats.

Have you brought Bobby for treatment yet?

I see...unfortunately this afternoon he was attacked again...but this time I have a good look at the attacker....a bigger male stray cat...and his wounds are healing...I treated them myself...not a big deal...anyway bout the stray cat, what should I do bout it?It keeps bothering my cats and trying to enter the house...damn I hate it!!!

Later i post. During weekends of such. Busy nowadays.

Either check with SPCA if they can catch it or you just catch it and relocate the big bully somewhere else.

Errr I never knew any SPCA in Terengganu...anyway u got a nice way of catching that stray cat?Coz if I use my way, it's kinda "Kejam"....hehe....

hey, my cat (dlh) banyak sgt bulu gugur.. is there a possiblity that the cause is terlampau horny.. HAHAHA.. bit worrying.. its our first time with horny dlh.. jadi terkejut sgt tgk banyak bulu gugur

both long hair, semi long, short hair will also have same problem.

remember, some of this happen because of the changes of fur from kitten to adult.

yeap stress because of horny will make the fur falls. other than other will also have fur problem when having, skin problem, food choice given, during pregnant and give birth.

Dunno la...but he looks mighty strong...and big!!!Everyday comes to my house to kacau my cats!!This afternoon also he came into the house and all hell break lose...my cats are running everywhere, hissing and after that me and my bro went to chase the cat....well, the cat kinda fight back with his hissing...no fear to humans eh...wait la I'll buy a stick to teach him a lesson!!!!MUAHHAHA!!!

uih sound like nightmare, i do hope that big wild cat will not attack children or even someone baby.. gosh!

Hmmm thank god we don't have small children or babies in this house....hope it's this cat who have been eating my little kitties last time...

i just wondering, how actually (the correct or comfortable way for the cat)to lift/mengankat the cat..is it behind the neck or between the front and back leg(means at the middle i.e. lifting baby) coz when it rains,i hv to put my cat in the cage to avoid getting any fever/cold..and he usually scratch or bite when i "baby" lift him..

hmm..because we sent ratu to a friend's house to mate, n i was quite alarmed to see so many of her fur gugur, her food/diet doesnt change much, maybe because of the temperature, she is too used to aircond and know duduk kat basement (padan muka )

another que., is it usual for the female to hiss(act angry) when the male try to come near to her, but when separated, Ratu cant stop meowing.. maybe CINTA is blooming?

nah i get this info from the cat book i bought (sorry the picture taken using hp camera)

do not squeeze or hold your cat behind the neck what mother cat do to bring away their kitten. you might spoil the cat muscle around there. oh well, there's alot behind the skin, not only muscle, but urat urat darah also. so be extra careful.

if you think because she stay outside the house, put her in then. she is long hair u know, she can turn to be short hair one day if you didn't keep her well. not to down grade short hair cat, but remember having long hair cat, you need more RM and time. short hair is much more independent, they can adapt with everything very easy.

all cat will hiss for a start or many longer. yes its true even during mate female will hiss and slap the male although they want to sex. thats normal for bigger cat. it will stop if they know the male is ready to give sex. they freak out when the male bite them. if the sex is successful, you see the female become more protective.

I think i have that book. Quite colorful. Btw, my sis said we can carry cat with this way too. A vet teach her about it.
