Hi there, personally i don't think that the size is kinda big, 240mm(length)220mm(width)55mm(height), it's roughly the size of A4 paper, heck the A4 paper when place horizontal, the paper's width is even greater the DAC width.

One thing for sure, the sound quality certainly hard to beat at this price, mADman has been giving rave review about this unit! and one thing good is, if you wanna put your name into the list, we could straight kick start the bulk! Waiting is kinda killing for audiophile, I know, know it very much cool2.gif

width = 8 3/4 inches
length = 9 1/2 inches
height = 3 inches

weight = dun have weighing scale la tongue.gif

i currently place mine on top of my office's pc chapalang case. the ZERO's feet nicely fits the width of the case.

not really la....the difference in bass between my Fubar II + Cute Battery II amp vs Zero is VERY minimal.

i noticed it coz i listen to metal...which isnt easy to get the bass kick in the first place.

other type of songs u probably wont notice it.

I just found out my dvd player has got both optical digital and analog out. so should be able to support the DAC, but I am not sure if the DAC will match to my tube amp soundstage 1.5 se?

If you read the head-fi thread, you will keep finding good review about zero DAC, catching up with the iBasso head amp.

Just browsed through the thread in headfi (only around half of the 1xx pages) about this zero and it seems like there's only the same few person giving opinion on how good it is in all the pages and the comparison that made also limited to the few thing the few person owned. Anyway looks forward for more reviews from the buyers here.

hi there, if you found those two white and red socket behind your tube amp, that's means it's 100% suitable. Those two we call them as RCA smile.gif

Hi there, I have seen headfier comparing this to Yulong's DAH1 which cost 3x than this DAC, althought the DAH1 is better but the ZERO's cost/performance ratio is certainly better smile.gif Anyway, guys here got Yulong DAH1, iBasso and Musiland MD10, perhaps we should do a real head-to-head review soon tongue.gif

So mADmAn, any improvement over quite some period of burn-in? Or your unit is already at Empy's operational table? tongue.gif

Emm ... regarding this question, we gotta wait for mADmAN and guys to do a possible small gathering to do some head-to-head DAC review, ZERO vs iBasso vs Yulong DAH1 vs Prodigy HD2 vs Musiland MD10! Like Walabies said: "DAC war!"

wahhh.. can compete with DAH1 and ibasso???
the price is half as much.... drool.gif

in term of price-to-perfomance and value-for-money, i would say that zero DAC is one of the best... thumbup.gif
