To all Zero DAC lover,

If any one of you planing to install a super clock on your Zero DAC, KingWa JZ-1 CD/DVD摩机时钟板 could be a good choice.
I have tested this clock on my marantz CD 94 player and another player it sounded very good, more dynamic, strong attack & thickness but a bit lack of transparentcy.
I did a compare to my singapore super clock and Audio_GD clock sounded very close to my singapore clock, i hope after 100hours it can sound better then the singapore clock. (the singapore clock cost me RM800.)

Attach below are some of the pic.

Hi eddy, that was impressive, actually is it going to be hard to install the clock? Check the price, around RM75 ... quite within budget, but just that it seems hard to implement in ...

One thing i like zero dac bcos it is more suitable for non tech persons ( like me ) , can just plug and play with op amps at any time.

I have an entry level tube pre amp that landed somewhere for more than 2 months, still in the process of " reinstating back to default state ". Sometimes it is quite hard to depend on somebody else to do IT for us. They may not have the time anyway. While still waiting, I bought another Tube amp as a replacement, which might not be needed in the first place.

Guys, those who are using foobar2000 as playback software, please do consider go and download the latest V0.9.5.6, to my ears it's sound more balanced, vocals are more natural, and less fatigue listening to, go and download ... software does plays a difference too biggrin.gif

Hi Brother God,

I have a Q for you, hope you do not mind.

My Earth that came with the extended wire ( forgot the exact name ) , sometimes not careful would hit the circuit board and cause a small spark . I used TACK IT to stick the earth to the casing. Would there be an overheating problem ? Do you mind to share a better way to seal it ?

10Q.

p/s : I think i have missed this important message earlier . But Zero dac does offer the solution hmm.gif

" Category 2. Very good players which are normally of standard quality, but definitely worth effort of lampization. After tuning and lampization - they will be fantastic. If you are lucky to own them - do it. If you want to try - buy them, usually for next to nothing - and enter very very close to Nirvana. "

Thank you for your reply, Bro Abel.

I take that into consideration. But the ground cable looks rather short if the Earth omp is on sitting position ( what i mean as a Tower without the case cover ? ) hmm.gif

yesterday sleep with lots of noise. It was like 2.00 am in the morning. The modded ZERO has kick ass bass, and plays sentimental music like Jazz a breeze.

Look forward to mod. http://www.head-fi.org/forums/f6/frankenze...85/#post4843415

If it is a long way to go, I guess it is for other DAC.

hi steve,

how is the mass for signal cable. if interested, there is a single crystal from hong kong which is much cheap.er.

Some poison: Emmm ... highs sound abit harsh compare to quite well burned in Earth at first listening, vocal certainly thicker than the Earth, soundstage emm ... it's smaller than the Earth, well that's the nature of warm sound biggrin.gif Still gotta burn in more to see the real beast ... my EARTH still havent well burn in yet, I guess just roughly around 50hours ... casual listening all the time tongue.gif
