@ongbs - i think wat digswell said is true since im also using 5000+ BE@3.0ghz with crappy HSF @stock vcore get around 36degrees when idle...furthermore, IIANM 3800 f3 tdp is 65w which is same as 5000+ BE @stock vcore n clock..n even @3.0ghz,5000+ BE only consume around 77watt which makes it cooler than 3800+ F3@3.0ghz

Use Core Temp for reading temp ? Brisbane having problem with DTS, so I use Everest Ultimate. Is it reliable to monitor CPU temp ? Coz night time my idle is 21-24C, 25% OC @ stock vcore. Day time around 28-30C

Dont know about the Brisbane DTS, some said that only using measuring tool (thermometer) on the proc then only we know the correct temp. My 4000+ during stock is at 25.28 idle, 38 load at 2.85ghz @ 1.31v, 34 idle, 51 load at 3.0@1.45v all idle temp cooled by GeminII with two Sanyo Denki H Series.

p/s : Just came back from meeting Sempronic, wait for his result on his latest project brows.gif

1.5v is too high on air cooling, furthermore it touches 64degree celcius. I hope you arent using it for 24/7 sweat.gif

No wonder, the internal core temp should be higher a bit than external thermometer reading biggrin.gif
I believe you add another 5 to 10C for external thermometer reading will be close to internal core temp.
Especially during max load, the internal core temp tend to change faster but it reflect the changes slower on thermometer.

Yerp, Im fully aware of that. And no, it doesnt feel hot, abit warm, and that's during night, late in the morning.

Lapped + GeminII with Sanyo Denki H Series brows.gif

But that will be the last result for my 4000+.
