QUOTE(hengmy @ Feb 1 2008, 01:43 AM)
my BE also.. when full load core temp shows less than 40c open case, 46c close case.. the CPU temp as a whole is 60c+ open case, 70c close case..
so what the 60c to 70c showing is right or not? coz when open case full load i feel warm only when touch the heatsink .. like 40c shows by the core temp...

another question.. is it ok for the processor to do 1.96vcore? on air?
*
your processor burn immediately for 1.96vcore on air

oc result , 420HTT achieved with air cooling icon_rolleyes.gif
Attached Image

However, other than the heatpipe , the rest remain the same sad.gif
1) Debug LEDs , Power and reset onboard buttons removed
2) HDMI output removed
3) Using Realtek ALC662 instead of using Realtek ALC88X cry.gif ( TA690G is using Realtek ALC888 sad.gif )

edited: Not sure the heatpipe version will be available in Malaysia or not.
TA690G also come along with MOS heatsink , but when come to malaysia the mos heatsink hilang cry.gif

the vcore really can go high.. even using air cooling.. i stop at 1.7xx , i think can put some vcore more.. but lazy to try ..

new bios ta770 seem ok.. but the boot time still very late.. have to wait long before enter windows..

but if u got better batch num.. sure it will clock well

haha ya ,this LE 16XX proc is very overclockable
furthermore it has 1MB L2 cache,
performance better than 2x 512kB dual core in single threaded benchmark program like super pi icon_rolleyes.gif

QUOTE(xixo_12 @ Feb 5 2008, 04:50 PM)
i dunno.. n weird.. even the vcore is at 1.7xx, n wanna put at 12 x 300, it wont boot.. ram edi try at 400 still the same.. bios prob maybe..

any Biostar TA770 A2+ user here?

wanna a confirmation here biggrin.gif

the chipset (AMD770/SB600) got no driver rite? sweat.gif

already scroll through the default disc, no chipset driver in it

already surf through AMD's web site, no chipset driver download section

only the "AMD 7-Series Chipsets Disk Performance Utility" available

just curious, just bought the mobo & this is the first time i encounter a chipset that doesn't required a driver to operate rclxms.gif
*
which OS that you are using?
the auto detection of installation disc doesn't work for the particular OS that you are using icon_rolleyes.gif

he has massive startup items issit? laugh.gif
AFAIK , xp and vista won't make big difference..
just that super pi running slower in windows vista due to higher memory usage in vista icon_rolleyes.gif

Please, gentlemen,
SS does help a lot in understanding the problem notworthy.gif
no offence, it is a good practice to post SS together with questions
