i guess 7-8 secs to 100km/h is manual version.
this car vs civic i would choose civic 2.0 la, the looks and legroom won by civic. but for me 1.8 civic n elantra, i would choose elantra. elantra is spacious, especially the width. leather seats. lol this car has better horsepower & 189nm torque if not wrong. is better than civic 1.8 haha. i gt went inside the car n my friend civic. civic 1.8 no leather , and civic guess has better legroom(rear seats). |

QUOTE(Ken @ Jan 26 2008, 03:41 PM) korean car aint bad ... test drive this car from PJ 222 and the SA let me whack the car "kao kao"..turn out to federal highway and start to press the acceration and very fast to reach 130km/H and feel like 80KM/H (seated 4 person in the car) and the engine is very quiet and very stable..and can feel still have plenty of "ommph" if u dare to press deep enough but quite a lot of car on that time so i didnt go all the way.. steering very light but i think is ok cos most of the EPS steering also very light.. and then i request to seat at the back as passenger and let the SA drive and he also drive quite fast, high speed cornering and try on bumpy road and as a passenger i feel quite comfortable at the back...only people keep saying high fc and high maintenance, and poor resale value ... overall i think this is a good car and the interior is |

QUOTE(squall_kay @ Jan 24 2008, 09:36 PM) thats good..this elentra really improve compare the previous gen... Civic is CKD..this elantra CBU..for me 100% goes for elantra..hyundai may not be that glamour brand but they certainly produced better car than the problematic CKD civic for my personal opinion...civic still a better choice compare to this elantra p/s: do you know the sound system in this elantra is made by the same company that supply to merz and lexus?..thats how far they have improved |

QUOTE(Ken @ Jan 26 2008, 03:41 PM) korean car aint bad ... parts are slightly more expensive, but not far from the japanese counterpartsonly people keep saying high fc and high maintenance, and poor resale value ... and i noticed that alot of people dont calculate one they dont factor in the initial purchase price in calculating the resale value |
