I think just out of the showroom..number plate PHQ 6XX1, happened at Jalan Bukit Gambier..rear windscreen being smashed.. t owner very lucky..

waa....so pity sama itu owner...

I go buy 4ekor and hentam the number plate already...buy Magnum & 1+3d...hope the number hit tonite..

get Civic 2.0 if you plan to have more powerful engine with minor modification as Elentra does not give you rooms for bigger modification

Drove elantra 1.8 and Civic 1.8

for me both in term of comfort and power is comparable

the new elantra looks good and is well priced. will definitely give the japanese rivals a run for their money... under 100k... as far as build quality goes, it's better than the previous model and the styling really is contemporary

this elantra is kinda nice
however, i like the new accent more
the rear light .. is so cool

Elantra pricing is so attractive... With the features, it's value for money...

Maybe you can check up a bit on the quality of Honda Civics here in Malaysia, on how the users are planning to take legal action against Honda.

Or even the amount of complaints regarding the RM20k CVT gearbox of the Honda City.

Just read Hypertune latest edition. It gives a very good rating for this Elantra...... Any personal reviews, anyone?

They have to compete in US market which is not the same as here. I believe the New Elantra 2008 is a big change over from the previous version. It up to the people here to accept and test it out.

Resale value for this new Elantra is cannot be confirmed yet as this is a big change over from the previous version. But nonetheless, I think it'll still not be as good as T or H or N brand, the value will depends on how much people appreciate it and demand.

Anyway, the specs and features for that price is really making those T, H and N looks bad. If people starts to favour and question, probably those T, H and N would consider lowering their prices and introduce better specs (or simply don't simply strip off the original specs). Competition is GOOD! Cmon' start questioning and pressure those SA, make T, H and N feels it. I would love to see all these cars having good competitive specs, features and also pricing.
