im not sure about the spareparts
but people often complain about the bad second hand value of those cars

unless you're those who changes car every 2-3years
i dont see a problem

lets take altis as an example
altis is around 111k, while civic 2.0 is around 120k

elantra is 91k, that makes it around 20k cheaper

if you plan to sell the car after 5 years or so, the difference in the used car value is about the same as the initial difference you pay isnt it

look like altis..anyway not enough confidence for hyundai although cheap and nice.. smile.gif

i think local hyundais are CKD-ed
if its CBU-ed, its a bloody good buy, hyundais and kias had improved tremendously over the pass few years thumbup.gif

if only a certain manufacturer can do that rolleyes.gif

Then why a nice car will have bad second hand value then? this is very confusing. . .

again, malaysian only look at used car value
therefore they insist on the T and H badge

most of them value the used car value over anything else, including driving dynamics(no, im not saying the elantra is nice to drive tongue.gif, im talking about contis in this context)

well..most people would worried about korean cars' FC. if it's good enough like those jap cars..i think it would be a hit here locally. just imagine it's 15-20K cheaper than the nearest competitors..T & H gotta sell cars cheaper then. smile.gif

their engine is improving, though in FC wise still lacks abit behind the japanese
well, i think the difference in the FC can be offset by controlling your right foot nod.gif

korean car aint bad ...

only people keep saying high fc and high maintenance, and poor resale value ...
*
parts are slightly more expensive, but not far from the japanese counterparts

and i noticed that alot of people dont calculate one
they dont factor in the initial purchase price in calculating the resale value doh.gif
