I wouldn't categorise move as Jrock. Those who say they are Jrock have either heard very little or only heard their newer songs.
They've been around for 10 years and anyone who has gone through their discography knows that they've done more than just rock. Hell...they even have more non-rock songs. And there really isn't any other group that sounds and has done as much variety as them.

yeah thats i think too

QUOTE(clemong_888 @ Jan 22 2008, 02:45 PM)
any hikki fan has to listen to her cover versions of

1.i love you(by yutaka ozaki)(it:s not the song in  deep river, i think its tht one)

it was only sung live in one of her concerts but she showed he vocals, even more than in final distance or first love. she never agreed to do a studio version after that because she liked the live version alot. and btw, i love you is the no.1 song in oricon:s top 100 love song. first love was no.2.

2.shounen jidai(inoue yasue sang the original)

she did this in a radio interview and it:s a pretty nice song, a very nice update of a popular song smile.gif

my favourite hikki songs are

first love
distance/final distance
flavor of life
wait and see
addicted to you
can you keep a secret
fly me to the moon(her only english song that i like)

i:m waiting for her new single, seems good smile.gif

wow thanks never heard those songs before

Check this song out, its a collaboration of Yuna Ito and.... Celine Dion~!

[single] A WORLD TO BELIEVE IN with Yuna Ito and Celine Dion

Yuna Ito × Celine Dion - Anata ga Iru Kagiri
~A WORLD TO BELIEVE IN~

1. Anata ga Iru Kagiri ~A WORLD TO BELIEVE IN~
2. Anata ga Iru Kagiri ~A WORLD TO BELIEVE IN~
(U.S.A. Mix)
3. Anata ga Iru Kagiri ~A WORLD TO BELIEVE IN~
(Yuna Ito Solo Ver.)
4. Anata ga Iru Kagiri ~A WORLD TO BELIEVE IN~
(Instrumental)

This is a special collaboration single between Yuna Ito and Celine Dion and it was released on January 16, 2008. This single reached #8 on the Oricon Weekly Charts and it has so far sold 11,778 copies.

Anata ga Iru Kagiri ~A WORLD TO BELIEVE IN~ is one of the best collaboration songs I have heard in a long time and it was a lot better than I thought it was going to be. The song is a sweeping pop power ballad with sincere and thoughtful lyrics. The drums and electric guitar were a were a nice extra addition too. The music is the same as Celine Dion's original English version, but she has re-recorded her English parts alongside Yuna Ito who sang the new Japanese parts. I honestly thought that Dion, being the vocal powerhouse that she is, would definitely overpower Ito's vocals during the chorus where they sang together, but Ito firmly stood her ground and also presented a strong performance as well. Their voices blend together well when they sing the You gave me a world to believe in line and when Dion provides background vocals during Ito's Japanese parts and the bridge (I think she does anyway). If you're curious, you can find Celine Dion's original version on her latest studio album Taking Chances.

I thought the U.S.A Mix of the song was going to be a collaboration of the English version, but it's the same as the Japanese version. The only difference is that chorus focuses more on Dion's vocals during the English parts. You can clearly hear her voice this time around instead of it being blended with Ito's.

I was impressed with Yuna Ito's solo version because she performed it well. Besides being in Japanese, the lyrics are different during the verses too. Everything else remains the same though.

I didnt really like this song after hearing the song from the PV.

Added on January 25, 2008, 12:06 ami think L~aRC~EN~Ciel is considered pop-rock cause there is a little bit of poppy sounds to their songs and Kiss is a great album. Loved it

for me, it's not a bad song...Yuna Ito's vocal more powerful than Celine Dion..

speaking of Yuna Ito, here's some news about her upcoming release:

her debut album not bad but took too long (about a year after she debut) to release cuz in between that, she already released quite a few singles, that's why her album only contained few new songs only.

well, since so many Jpop music lovers here, why don't someone make a mini banner for Jpop music? hehehehe

to be honest that song, Yuna Ito solo version is better man, not to say Celine's voice bad, but Yuna's voice dominated Celine's voice. Very nice song.

yes, that one is re-sing "Flying Without Wings" again

There's a probability that Jpop Sexy Queen, Koda Kumi will release a collaboration singer with B.E.P's lead singer, Fergie
