there is no question whether a tv is compatible or not as even an old 14 inch tv can be connected to the psp
you just need the right cable for the tv. for an lcd tv like yours, you need a component cable. while the crt tvs need a simple av cable.

before you buy a cable, make sure its like this

this is for the normal crt tvs.

so do i need to buy original cable? or i can buy 3rd party ones? does 3rd party ones suck as in term of quality? cause original cable are sure expensive.

And can CRT Tv play psp games? i read last time that LCD only can support psp game, but i heard a homebrew software enables the psp to play game on CRT

the 3rd party cables are okay. some cheaper ones got noise issues and grainy visuals. but i guess you can try getting some slightly expensive ones.

and to play on crt tvs, you need to do the following steps.
PSP on CRT
and you can download the following Fu Sa plugin here. smile.gif

happy watching.

sorry man, cant help u with that. the only way is to go to the store you bought it from and ask them to ship your psp to the manufacturer to check the firmware version.
after that they'll so some tests to see whether that is the firmware. after some 30-40days they'll ship it back to you in a box with the firmware written on a gold plated card.

laugh.gif joking2. haha.
just go to your Settings>System Settings>System Information on the main menu (in other words, the XMB) nod.gif
